Provided is a molding machine system enabling a free setting of execution timings of respective steps in a molding cycle of heating of a mold, injection and pressure holding of a molding material, cooling of the mold, etc. The molding machine system repeating a series of molding cycle comprises three temperature sensors arranged at predetermined places of a mold, a change-over valve unit having a heat medium channel by which heating medium from a heating unit, cooling medium from a cooling unit and pressurized air are changed over to be supplied into and recovered from the mold and a molding control means, provided on the change-over valve unit, having a temperature judging program judging respective detected temperatures of the three temperature sensors to give a judgement result and a timer to give a time set signal. A molding operation control is carried out by combining the judgement result with the time set signal and enables an arbitrary supply control of the heating medium, cooling medium and pressurized air to be supplied into the mold and an arbitrary supply control of the molding material to be supplied into the mold.

A temperature control apparatus includes a temperature control branch connected to a feed line for a temperature control medium, a pump system including a pump for conveying the medium, a pump open-loop or closed-loop control device for controlling the output of the pump system, a throttle device having a variable degree of opening for throttling a quantitative through-flow of the medium in the temperature control branch, and an open-loop or closed-loop control device with the degree of opening of the throttle device as a setting value and with a control variable from the group: degree of opening of the throttle device, temperature, temperature difference, through-flow, pressure or a physical value to be derived from that group. The pump open-loop or closed-loop control device is configured to control an operation of the pump to adjust the delivery output of the pump system depending on the degree of opening of the throttle device.

A lubricant such as grease is supplied by a grease supply device to a grease supply point of an injection molding machine. A workload of a movable portion forming the injection molding machine when the movable portion operates is calculated and a grease supply command is output to the grease supply device when the calculated workload exceeds a reference value. An operating state of the injection molding machine is evaluated by using the workload reflecting a load on the movable portion and, in this way, insufficiency of lubrication of the movable portion is anticipated.

The additive is fed to the feed zone (4) of the screw from the dosing channel (10) that opens into the space between the screw (2) and cylinder (3) in the flow direction of the plastic raw material.

An electromechanical clamping device with hydraulic assistance is described. A thrust mechanism driven by an electric motor displaces two clamping jaws with respect to each other along a guide device. One clamping jaw is divided into two mutually displaceable part jaws. A chamber to hold pressure medium is formed between the part jaws. The first part jaw can be displaced along the guide device and locked with respect to the latter. One part jaw is provided with a first cylinder coupled to the output of the thrust mechanism. In order to close the clamping device, in a first step the thrust mechanism pulls the part jaws against the other clamping jaw, in a second step the thrust mechanism delivers pressure medium from the first cylinder into the chamber between the two part jaws, with the first part jaw locked with respect to the guide device. To open the clamping device, in a first step a second cylinder arranged between the two part jaws pulls the part jaws against each other, with the first part jaw locked with respect to the guide device, and then in a second step the thrust mechanism forces the part jaw coupled to it in the opening direction, forcing the other part jaw with it, with the first part jaw unlocked from the guide device. The clamping device is provided for production machines, in particular for injection molding machines.

A medium supply apparatus includes: a storage part storing, in advance, information indicating a relation between a change in the amount of medium supplied by a medium drive part and a change in a frequency obtained by conversion in an inverter in accordance with a pipe resistance in a state that an electric motor is operated in a given condition; a frequency detection part detecting the frequency of the inverter in a case that the electric motor is operated in the given condition; a medium amount calculation part, on the basis of the frequency detected by the frequency detection part and the information stored in the storage part, calculating the amount of medium to be supplied by the medium drive part; a setup part setting up a necessary amount for the medium; and a frequency control part, on the basis of the necessary amount of medium set up by the setup part, the detected frequency, and the calculated medium amount, controlling the frequency to be obtained by conversion in the inverter.
