Abstract:
A method for a system having a plurality of primary fluid sources and a fluid output with a common pump includes halting pumping of a first fluid, isolating the common pump from the fluid output and the primary fluid sources, connecting an inlet of the common pump to a solvent source and a compressed air source, and an outlet of the common pump to a waste fluid dump, filling the common pump with a first purge volume of solvent, cycling the common pump in a flush mode, operating the common pump in a timed flow mode, and connecting an inlet of the common pump to a second primary fluid source, and an outlet of the common pump to the output line, and starting pumping of a second fluid from the second primary fluid source through the output line.
Abstract:
Productivity can be improved. A substrate processing method includes a processing liquid supplying process of supplying a processing liquid, which contains a volatile component and forms a film on a substrate, onto the substrate on which a pre-treatment, which requires atmosphere management or time management after the pre-treatment, is performed; and an accommodating process of accommodating, in a transfer container, the substrate on which the processing liquid is solidified or cured by volatilization of the volatile component.
Abstract:
A mobile spray dispenser comprises a fluid circulation system and a heating unit. The fluid circulation system has a motorized pump capable of circulating fluid from a fluid reservoir in a high-pressure spray mode and a low-pressure recirculation mode, and of providing the fluid to a sprayer. The motorized pump draws lower power in the low-pressure recirculation mode than in the high-pressure spray mode. The heating unit is disposed within the fluid circulation system to heat the fluid to a target temperature, and comprises a primary heater and a boost heater. The primary heater is configured to be active during both the high-pressure spray mode and the low-pressure recirculation mode. The boost heater is in fluid series with the primary heater, and is configured to be active only during the low-pressure recirculation mode.
Abstract:
A dispenser comprises a housing defining at least three feed channels, a spool valve with a spool defining at least three flow passages, a deformable sealing plug in at least two of the feed channels and in sealing orientation with both the housing and the spool, and a nipple in at least the two feed channels of the housing comprising sealing plugs; wherein the spool can reversibly rotate between an open orientation and a closed orientation can dispense two-component form formulations that are free of gaseous blowing agents.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an improved applicator gun for mixing two materials passed through the gun under pressure, an A material and a B material, usually a resin and a hardener. The improved gun has substantially straight-through flow paths that beneficially permits the gun to be used with high viscosity materials and/or highly filled materials (large particles) and that beneficially minimize the effect of the pump “wink” associated with pump cycles. The preferred gun is air actuated, so it includes a valve body, a cylinder body for using pneumatic pressure to open and close the valve body, and a trigger body for selectively providing high pressure shop air to the cylinder body. The longitudinal axis of the cylinder body's cylinder and associated piston are uniquely offset from the plane containing the A- and B-paths so that the two paths can pass substantially straight through the cylinder body, and then through the valve body, prior to exiting the tip of the spray gun.
Abstract:
A dual trigger mixing system is provided that allows the user to control the mixing of two or more agents that are mixed in at high rates of speed.

Abstract:
A spray system has a pump with a double-action reciprocating plunger balanced to receive equal up-stroke and down-stroke assist from a pre-pressurized supply. The reciprocating plunger has identical working surface area on opposite first and second axial faces. A pumping system has a double-action reciprocating plunger with upward- and downward-facing spacers. The plunger travels axially within a proportioning cylinder with first inlet and outlet ports at a first axial end, and second inlet and outlet ports at an opposite second axial end. When the plunger is at its top-most position, the upward-facing plunger occludes the first inlet and outlet ports without blocking flow. When the plunger is at its bottom-most position, the downward-facing plunger occludes the second inlet and outlet ports without blocking flow.
Abstract:
A rotatable spray head, a multi-material spraying apparatus using the rotatable spray head, and a method of spraying multiple materials are provided. The multi-material spraying apparatus includes the rotatable spray head. The rotatable spray head includes an outer shell and an inner shaft tube, for creating relative rotational motion between each other to switch the spraying material. Different materials can be sprayed one at a time through a same ejecting outlet of the rotatable spray head. A recycling step of the method allows the sprayed material to be recycled back to a material supplying pipe or a material holder, before switching to a different spraying material, in order to prevent the mixing of different spraying materials.
