摘要： A molding apparatus is provided which comprises a lower mold portion and an upper mold portion movable into engagement with the lower portion. A movable spray head is disposed on a traversing rack mounted within a retractable coating box. The coating box upper surface contains a first opening corresponding in size and shape to the outer periphery of the mold cavity of the upper mold and a second opening which corresponds in size and shape to the opening of an overspray recovery transition piece disposed at a position adjacent the fully disengaged upper mold portion. Prior to a molding operation, the coating box engages the upper mold permitting both the transition piece opening and cavity opening in the top surface of the box to align with the transition piece and cavity, respectively. The spray heads and drive of the traversing rack are activated and the overspray recovery transition piece fluidly communicates with an evacuated recovery booth, thereby causing the cavity of the upper mold to be coated and the overspray to be withdrawn into the recovery booth.

A foramenous skirt depends from the lower edge of the hood sidewall to contact the surface to be cleaned. The vacuum passages are connected to a source of vacuum. A rotating spray assembly inside the shroud sprays cleaning liquid onto the surface to be cleaned.

摘要： An apparatus for spraying powder coating material includes a rotatable turret which moves articles to and from a work station. A powder spray gun is operable to spray a pattern onto each of the articles in turn while the article is at the work station. The powder flows through the spray gun as a series of pulses. A diverter assembly is operable to divert a portion of each pulse of powder away from the nozzle to more sharply define the pulse. An excess powder collector draws a flow of powder away from the work station. A virgin powder container supplies powder to a powder collector container which supplies powder to a powder feed container which supplies powder to the spray gun. Sensors associated with the virgin, collector and feed containers ensure that a predetermined quantity of powder is maintained in each container. During transport of powder from the virgin and collector containers, the containers and their associated pumps are vibrated to facilitate the flow of powder. The powder spray gun is mounted on a three axis adjustment assembly to enable the powder spray gun nozzle to be accurately positioned relative to an article at the work station.

摘要： A system for cleaning both the box and pin ends of tubular members, recovery of the fluid residue, filtering of the residue to recover the heavy solids, and disposing of each of the components of the residue in an environmentally safe manner. A first housing positionable over the end of a tubular member; a first bladder expandable from the housing to seal around the outer wall of the tubular member; a plurality of jets positioned adjacent the threads of the tubular member, so that as the jets are rotated around the threads, a high pressure fluid spray cleans the threads of the member; a second bladder expandable from the end of the jetting means for sealing the inner bore of the member beyond the threads, so that all fluid jetted into the housing from the jetting nozzles is captured within the housing and flows from the housing, and no fluid flows beyond the threaded pipe end either along the inner or outer walls of the tubular member. The fluid is then collected, filtered, and the filtrate is disposed as wastewater, and the filters containing the filtered solid is placed in environmentally safe sealed containers for disposal.

At least one liner is adhered to the set of opposed flute tips. Thereafter the combined board with the resin compound on selected transverse portions of the fluted medium is allowed to cure, under selected temperature and moisture conditions and without the application of pressure that would crush the fluted medium. A suitable resin for the intended purpose is an isocyanate compound.
