    摘要: A reformer includes first and second reforming units which are stacked together. A first hole is formed at the center of a first receiver member of the first reforming unit, and a plurality of holes are formed in a peripheral portion of a second receiver member of the second reforming unit. In the structure, a reforming channel having a serpentine pattern going through the first and second holes is formed. In each of the first and second receiver members, a single layer of catalyst pellets is provided. Both end surfaces of the catalyst pellets substantially contact the first and second receiver members.

    摘要: Described herein is an apparatus for the synthesis of ammonia from a synthesis gas containing N2 and H2, comprising at least one first reactor. The apparatus comprises a first non-cooled catalyst bed unit, at least one heat exchanger apparatus, and at least two cooled catalyst bed units. Each cooled catalyst bed unit is equipped with a plurality of cooling pipes. The apparatus further comprises a circuit line having at least one feed apparatus and at least one outlet apparatus, wherein the circuit line, starting from the feed apparatus, comprises in consecutive downstream arrangement the plurality of cooling pipes, the first non-cooled catalyst bed unit, the at least one heat exchanger apparatus, and the at least two cooled catalyst bed units up to the outlet apparatus. To this end, the circuit line comprises at least one bypass line, which is arranged between the feed apparatus and the first non-cooled catalyst bed unit in parallel to the plurality of cooling pipes running through the at least two cooled catalyst bed units. The invention further provides a method for the synthesis of ammonia from a synthesis gas containing N2 and H2.

    摘要: A fuel reformer which is relatively simple in structure and can be manufactured at a low cost is provided. A fuel reformer includes: a high-temperature unit 2 having a combustion chamber 5A in which fuel is burned, and a reforming section 7 disposed on the outer peripheral surface side of the combustion chamber 5A and filled with a reforming catalyst in an annular shape; a medium-low-temperature unit 3 having a shift converter section (21, 26) located on the side where the medium-low-temperature unit 3 is connected to the high-temperature unit 2 and filled with a shift converter catalyst in a cylindrical shape, and a selective oxidation section 36 located on the side opposite the side where the medium-low-temperature unit 3 is connected to the high-temperature unit 2 and filled with a selective oxidation catalyst in a cylindrical shape; a connection flow pipe 19 for supplying reformate having passed through the reforming section of the high-temperature unit 2 to the shift converter section side in the medium-low-temperature unit 3; and a vessel 13 for integrally housing the high-temperature unit 2 and the medium-low-temperature unit 3 connected by the connection flow pipe 19.
