Abstract:
A filter element may include a filter medium extending in an extension direction and including a filter material separating clean and raw sides of the filter element, and two seals arranged at two end faces of the filter medium located opposite one another in the extension direction, so that an inner side of each seal may be arranged lying against the associated end face in a fluid-tight manner. The two inner sides, jointly with an inner circumferential side of the filter medium, may partly limit a filter element interior space. The filter medium, in a section running perpendicularly to the extension direction, has an open U-geometry or V-geometry with two legs.
Abstract:
A filter cartridge is provided that includes a plurality of individual fibers, wherein the individual fibers have different cross sections and are arranged into a random lattice of fibers. The filter cartridge also includes at least one flat sheet media, wherein the plurality of individual fibers are thermally bound to the at least one flat sheet media, wherein the flat sheet media is spirally wound to create a cylindrical profile.
Abstract:
An air filtration equipment, the air filtration equipment is installed in an ventilation area at an interface between indoor and outdoor spaces of a fixed space, the equipment including: a sensor configured to sense information on inhalable particles in outside air; at least one filtering layer configured to filter out inhalable particles in air entering from the ventilation area into the indoor space; and a control device connected with the sensor and the at least one filtering layer and configured to control the at least one filtering layer to expand according to the information sensed by the sensor, such that the expanded at least one filtering layer covers the ventilation area. Also, a screen window and a window are provided.
Abstract:
A filter element has a filter medium body with a plurality of filter segments that are joined to one another, of which at least two filter segments run adjacent and delimit an interposing intermediate space in which a support element is arranged for support on a housing component.
Abstract:
A filter element is provided with a support body and one or more filter medium bodies arranged on the support body. One or more guide elements are arranged on the support body and guide the filter element in an insertion direction in a receiving filter housing, when the filter element is inserted in the insertion direction into the receiving filter housing. A filter device with such a filter element and a filter housing is provided. The filter housing has a counter guide element engaging the one or more guide elements of the filter element.
Abstract:
Air filtering devices are disclosed that contain a first filter cartridge having a cartridge inlet and a cartridge outlet and a curved filter bed having a concave surface disposed such that air to be filtered passes through the inlet, the curved filter bed, and the outlet. The air filtering devices also contain a blower assembly having a blower inlet in fluid communication with the cartridge outlet and a blower outlet, the blower assembly includes a motor proximate to the concave surface of the curved filter bed. The motor has a rotational axis such that the rotational axis is adjacent to the center of curvature of the curved filter bed. The air filtering device may be used in powered air purifying respirators.
Abstract:
A filter element, including: a plurality of superposed single sheets, each sheet including a corrugated layer; and a covering layer for forming parallel flow channels; wherein the plurality of superposed single sheets are connected to one another; wherein the plurality of single sheets are not flat and have at least one curvature and are connected in the curved state, so that the curved filter element formed from the single sheets is inherently stable and have an axis of curvature that extends parallel to the flow channels.
Abstract:
A filter element includes a single seamless media pack having first and second opposite ends and first and second lateral sides extending between the first and second ends. The media pack also has pleats extending between the first and second ends and a first cross-section defined between the first and second lateral sides. The first cross-section having at least one outward projection that defines an internal radius of at least ¼ inch wherein a plurality of pleats of the media pack are fanned around the internal radius. A first end cap is secured to the first end of the media pack while a second end cap secured to the second end of the media pack. Additionally, a frame member is secured to the first end cap, second end cap, the first lateral side, and the second lateral side. A pre-filter is usable with described filter arrangements.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a filter, which includes an enclosure (10) and a filter core (20) mounted inside the enclosure (10). The filter core (20) includes a support (22) and a filtering element (24) entangled with the support (22). The enclosure (10) is of a spherical form and includes: a main body (12), an inlet passage (14) mounted to an upper portion of the main body (12), an outlet passage (16) mounted to a lower portion of the main body (12), and a ventilation tube (18) mounted to a top of the main body (12). The filtering element (24) is set in a spherically-shaped spiral so that the filter core (20) has reduced filtering areas at a top and a bottom ends thereof and an enlarged filtering area at a middle portion. The present invention helps extend the lifespan of the filter. The filter also has a function of gas/liquid separation. In an application the filter to the field of manufacture of liquid crystal displays, the times of cleaning and time period of dipping for cleansing the filter can be reduced to enhance the efficiency of product switching.
Abstract:
A filter system includes a filter assembly having an interior, an end defining a bypass opening, and another end for coupling to an air intake of an aircraft engine to permit intake air from the interior to enter the air intake. The filter system includes a bypass closure movable relative to the filter assembly between at least a first position and a second position. The bypass closure substantially covers the bypass opening in the first position to inhibit intake air from entering the interior through the bypass opening. The filter system includes an actuator coupled to at least one of the filter assembly and the bypass member to cause relative movement of the bypass closure between the first and second positions.
