摘要： A purification module is provided comprising a plurality of purification cartridges, a support for the cartridges, a manifold and a bowl. In one embodiment the support for the cartridges has two pitched partial screw threads on opposing surfaces which mate with pitched screw flights on the manifold when the partial screw threads are rotated into the screw flights. The support includes fluid passageways for directing filtered fluid from the filtration cartridges, through the support and into the manifold. In another embodiment, a purification module is provided comprising a purification cartridge, a manifold and a bowl. The purification cartridge has two pitched partial screw threads on opposing surfaces of the cartridge outlet which mate with screw flights on the manifold when the partial screw threads are rotated into the mating screw flights.

摘要： A filter housing having a vessel portion that has an inlet and a first outlet. The filter housing also includes a lid that is sealingly mateable to the vessel portion and the lid has a second outlet. A cage is designed to be fit within the vessel portion. The cage has upper and lower plates that are held apart at a fixed distance by a sidewall with an inlet. The plates are sealed against the inside of the vessel portion. Fluid can enter the vessel between the plates when the cage is installed in the vessel portion. Filters are designed to be sealed within apertures in the upper and lower plates of the cage and the filters span between the plates. When fluid enters between the plates of the cage it is forced to travel through the filters to exit from between the plates.

A cartridge plate is secured to the shell between the first and second end plates, such that the first end plate and the cartridge plate define a filtration chamber, and the second end plate and the cartridge plate define an outlet chamber. The cartridge plate includes a plurality of apertures configured to receive a plurality of filter elements assembled thereto. An inlet port intersects the filtration chamber, and an outlet port intersects the outlet chamber. The cartridge plate is secured to the shell by a laterally split, outwardly resilient retaining band received in interlocking engagement with a corresponding inner circumferential groove in the shell, the inner circumferential groove being positioned adjacent to the cartridge plate, such that the installed retaining band prevents longitudinal movement of the cartridge plate toward the second end plate.

Each of the filtering elements is divided in two by a solid partition or constriction between its ends so that the connected washing organ generates backflushing only to a part of the element length at a time. The parts of the filtering element are functionally independent, and the one part may be backflushed at the same time as the filtering goes on in the other part.
