摘要： A molten metal filter medium comprised of at least two opposed wedge-shaped plates having at least one hollow generally oblong member comprised of porous ceramic material attached at a first end to one of the plates and at a second end to the second plate, at least one of the plates including a passage to an outlet communicating with the hollow member, wherein molten metal can enter the filter through the hollow member and exit the filter through the passage in the end plate.
