    摘要： A one-piece hygiene article is disclosed for use by a male to absorb moisture in the crotch region, wherein the hygiene article includes an absorbent material. The hygiene article further includes a first absorbing portion, having a V-shape for receiving the genitals of the male. The legs of the V-shape of the first absorbing portion are arranged for being provided along the groin and on either side of the genitals of the male. A second absorbing portion extends from the base of the V-shape of the first absorbing portion and has an elongated shape, wherein the second absorbing portion is arranged for being provided between the buttocks of the male. The hygiene article further includes at least one weakening line for a length adjustment of the hygiene article, and an adhesive material for adhering the hygiene article to the crotch of the male.

    摘要： A toe and finger guard includes a protective member bendable from an initial, generally planar shape to a curved shape when mounted on a digit to be protected. A foam member is secured to the protective member. An adhesive tape overlies the protective member and the foam member and secures them on the digit. Advantageously, the protective member is a plastic square that is initially rigid and generally planar. The square is deeply grooved to acquire the capacity to be bent from its initial planar, generally rigid shape to a curved, flexible shape when mounted on the digit to be protected.

    摘要： A wound shield for exudate management may include a conformable frame to circumscribe a wound. The conformable frame may be formed of material for absorbing wound exudate. Exudate absorbing material may also be one of two or more layers of material forming the conformable frame. The layers may be arranged to keep the exudate absorbing layer at some selected distance from a patients skin. Any suitable dressing may be secured over the conformable frame providing separation between the wound and the dressing. The wound frame may provide pressure relief around a wound or pressure sore to permit healing. The conformable frame may be wrapped, in a spiral, around a wound providing an increasing pressure relief by increasing distance from the wound. A conformable frame may be composed of one or more layers of any suitable material and may include adhesive on one or more surfaces to secure the frame to the wound site and or to secure the dressing to the conformable frame. One layer of the two or more layers of material forming the conformable frame may be a wicking or conduit material that draws exudate from the wound and transports the exudate to any suitable media for exudate storage. The exudate storage may be one or more layers of a dressing covering the wound site, or it may be a removable reservoir.

The leg engaging surfaces comprises a soft resilient material so that the skin and flesh of the inner portion of a patient's legs will be protected from abrasive action. A first strap means is secured to the pad adjacent its upper end for securing the pad to a patient's leg just above the knee. A second strap means is secured to the pad adjacent the bottom thereof for securing the pad to the patient's leg just above the ankle. A third strap means can be used alternately and it is secured to the pad just below the knee portion to again secure the pad to the leg of the patient just below the knee.
