Abstract: A method of knitting an article of apparel includes knitting a first region using a first yarn of a first color and knitting a second region using a second yarn of a second color that differs from the first color. Knitting the first region and knitting the second region forms at least a portion of a color layout of the article of apparel. The method further includes knitting a textured element into at least one of the first region and the second region with at least one of the first yarn and the second yarn. The textured element has a layout that differs from the color layout.

Abstract: A greenhouse screen is described with strips of film material that are interconnected by a yarn system of transverse threads and longitudinal threads by means of knitting, warp-knitting or weaving process to form a continuous product is disclosed. At least some of the strips include a film material in the form of a single- or multilayer polyethylene film having a thickness of 10-70 micrometers. Said film has at least 2-4 wt.-% SiO2 particles having a D50 of 2-10 micrometers. The film is advantageously used as a screen providing light scattering properties particularly suited for greenhouse applications.

Abstract: A cloth for mattress including a knitted fabric that is knitted from blended yarns contains flame retardant rayon fibers, modacrylic fibers, polyimide fibers, and low-melting polyester fibers. The cloth for mattress can be obtained by producing blended yarns containing the flame retardant rayon fibers, the modacrylic fibers, the polyimide fibers, and the low-melting polyester fibers, and producing a knitted fabric by knitting the blended yarns. The cloth for mattress has excellent flame retardancy, ensures easy handling when used to cover a mattress, is resistant to pilling without reducing the strength of the blended yarns, and is also safe for contact with the human body.
