摘要： An object which can provide a reference for measuring the intensity of a primary magnetic field, is positioned in the vicinity of a subject being examined. A variation in the primary magnetic field intensity is detected, based on a frequency shift of data observed of the object, and is used to control the primary magnetic field intensity, or reference frequency for phase detection, or to correct image data. In this manner image quality is prevented from being degraded due to the variation of the primary magnetic field intensity.

摘要： In an apparatus for conducting solubilization chromatography wherein a solvent consisting of a buffer and ionized micells is allowed to flow through a capillary tube whose both ends are connected to the plus and minus sides, respectively, of a DC source, then a sample is introduced into the capillary tube, components of the sample are separated by combination of dissolution phenomenon of the sample in the ionized micells and capillary electro-phoresis, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of the components is carried out; a three way joint is provided having a first opening connected to the capillary tube, a second opening connected to tubing for feeding the solvent and sample, and a third opening serving as a discharge outlet for residue solution of solvent and sample not introduced into the capillary tube; and means are provided for controlling the time the sample contacts an inlet of the capillary tube within the three way joint, whereby the quantity of sample introduced into the capillary tube is controlled. In another embodiment, means are provided for controlling the quantity of sample which is drawn into the capillary tube.

摘要： A microwave moisture sensor operates on the principle that an emitted microwave is attenuated in rotary resonance with water molecules. The microwave moisture sensor includes measurement and reference signal systems sharing a microwave oscillator, a detector and other components, means for calculating the ratio of the signals from the respective systems, and an AGC circuit means for keeping the reference signal from the reference signal system at a predetermined level, so that drifts of the microwave oscillator, detector and other components will be cancelled and thus increased measuring accuracy will result. Furthermore, the microwave moisture sensor measure the basis weight and temperature of a material being measured, and processes the measured values according to predetermined moisture percentages free from adverse influences of the basis weight and temperature and thus increase the degree of measurement accuracy.

摘要： A multi-colored recording apparatus comprising a carriage disposed to be movable in the width direction and having a single wire hammer, a ribbon cassette having a plurality of different colored ribbons extending an effective width of the recording sheet, a driving mechanism for causing the ribbon cassette to rotate and bring one colored ribbon in position between the hammer and recording sheet for effecting recording and move the cassette away from the recording sheet after recording, wherein the recorded data is advantageously readily read without interference of the cassette with the reading, and display for displaying a bar graph for the analog signals as represented by the different colored ribbons, wherein the use of only a single hammer with the movable cassette containing the different colored ribbons extending the effective width of the recording sheet provides a compact and light apparatus.

摘要： In conventional subminiature current transformers, voltage withstandability property is not reliable and frequency characteristics are inferior. The current transformer of the invention, advantageously, is able to withstand high voltages and also has other advantageous characteristics. A primary coil and a secondary coil are wound about individual bobbins disposed on two L-shaped legs connected together to form a square "O" shaped core. Compensation for various errors is accomplished by a condenser and a resistor connected between the input and output terminals of an operational amplifier (of the integrated circuit type) which is connected to the output of the secondary coil. The primary and secondary core areas are selectively controlled as to the currents applied to enable the transformer to withstand the high voltages.

摘要： A pressure sensor which detects delicate changes in pressure as small as 0.01 .mu.m water column by detecting displacement or torque in a movable plate. The sensor comprises a fixed plate in which slits are formed, a movable plate on which pressure to be measured is impressed, a supporting member which supports the movable plate at two points on a straight line passing through its center of gravity so as to enable the movable plate to rotate thereabout, and a detecting means for detecting displacement or torque in the movable plate. The different pressures act on the movable plate to cause the rotation thereof and the displacement or torque so that such displacement corresponds to the pressure difference.
