Abstract: A pedestrian protection system includes a plurality of autonomous driving vehicles and a server configured to be able to communicate with each of the autonomous driving vehicles. The server is configured to select at least one vehicle to be moved to the location of a pedestrian from among the autonomous driving vehicles as a pedestrian protection vehicle when a particular situation occurrence notification is received and is configured to send an instruction notification to the pedestrian protection vehicle. The particular situation occurrence notification indicates that the pedestrian is placed in a particular situation. The instruction notification instructs the pedestrian protection vehicle to move to the location of the pedestrian for protecting the pedestrian. Each of the autonomous driving vehicles is configured to move to the location of the pedestrian for protecting the pedestrian when the instruction notification is received.

Abstract: A matching system that matches a first vehicle requiring substitution when being at least either loaded into or unloaded from a parking place and a remote driver driving the first vehicle as a substitute through remote operation includes a terminal and a server. The terminal transmits substitution request information to the server. The server that has received the request information transmits waiting time information to the terminal. The terminal notifies a user or a staff of the received waiting time information, accepts a waiting time information approval or additional fee payment instructions, and settles the additional fee through cooperation with the server, upon receiving the payment instructions. The server changes the turn of the first vehicle in a queue for the remote operation service such that the first vehicle is prioritized more than a second vehicle that has not paid the additional fee, upon completing the additional fee settlement.

Abstract: A power transfer system includes: a compact mobility; a ground unit disposed on a second lane which is a driving lane for the compact mobility, the ground unit being capable of wireless power transfer; and a controller that controls the ground unit. The compact mobility has an amount of electric power that can be stored less than a predetermined amount, and travels at a speed dependent on electric power wirelessly received from the ground unit. When a pedestrian is sensed in the second lane, the controller forces the compact mobility to decelerate by reducing transmission power from the ground unit to the compact mobility, as compared to when the pedestrian is not sensed in the second lane.

Abstract: A vehicle is capable of receiving electric power supplied from a charger and capable of receiving electric power supplied from a charging mat. The charging mat is movable and capable of wireless power transfer. A method for providing a vehicle charging service includes a first step and a second step. The first step is giving, by a server, an instruction for installing the charging mat on a lane at which charging congestion is detected or predicted to occur, the charging congestion being traffic congestion for charging the electric power supplied from the charger. The second step is transmitting the electric power from the charging mat when the vehicle is detected above the charging mat installed on the lane in accordance with the instruction, and transmitting no electric power from the charging mat when the vehicle is not detected above the charging mat.
