摘要: Embodiments of the present technology include a wearable physiological monitoring device, related algorithms and software that are tied to a portable electronic device for readout. The wearable device can perform real-time measurement of a number of physiological and environmental parameters including heart rate, pulse oximetry, respiration, movement, environmental particulate matter, moisture, temperature (e.g., ambient air and body temperatures) and geospatial location. Some embodiments may establish a physiological baseline for a patient by measuring the above parameters during a healthy state. Collected data can be wirelessly transmitted to a portable electronic device or monitoring and feedback platform where software will analyze the data and make assessments of the device wearer's health based upon the wearer's baseline.

摘要: A system having a scope with a longitudinal length extending between a proximal end and a distal end includes a plurality of markers spaced along the longitudinal length. The system also includes a disassociation and positioning device that is configured to enhance unsedated transnasal endoscopic procedures by at least partially occluding the vision of a patient while enabling body cavity access, and optionally record and sense body functions such as temperature, heart rate and oxygenation of the blood stream. The system further includes a sensor integrated into the distraction device, wherein the sensor is configured to detect the markers on the longitudinal length of the scope.

摘要: Systems and methods for medical monitoring devices are provided. Various embodiments include a monitoring device platform. The platform may adhere to a smartphone and house one or more medical monitoring devices to accommodate for one or more health conditions. The medical monitoring devices may be interchangeable and the types of medical monitoring devices on the platform is customizable. The platform may include Bluetooth® functionality and is compatible with smart phones or other smart devices. Medical information collected by the platform is transmitted to the smart phone for viewing by the user. The medical information may be processed by a machine learning engine and can be used to highlight relevant information within an action plan created by a medical professional. Individual medical devices can slide and lock into the platform and may be used while the phone is in use.

摘要: TNE provides the opportunity to make the care of children with EoE and other gastrointestinal or aerodigestive conditions safer, more efficient, and less costly while simultaneously advancing our understanding of the pathophysiology and natural course of this condition. A pediatric endoscope was developed to facilitate TNE in children with EoE. The pediatric endoscope (combined gastroscope, bronchoscope, laryngoscope) includes a 3-4 mm flexible, fiber optic endoscope that allows HD TV viewing with the head of a pediatric bronchoscope that allows four way tip deflection, a scope stiffening apparatus to minimize the endoscopes flexibility when needed, a foot and hand activation to allow air/water insufflation and image/video capture, a light source, 2 mm biopsy channel.

摘要: A device is able to measure blood pressure from inside a user's ear. In the illustrated example, the device has three components: (1) a pulse sensor attached to an inflatable pipe which is placed inside the ear, (2) an air pump with a controller, and (3) blood pressure estimation modules including processors and computer executable instruction executed on the processors to execute blood pressure estimation algorithms.
