摘要: There is provided an apparatus (12) for use in measuring blood pressure. The apparatus (12) comprises a processor (102) configured to acquire a signal indicative of pressure oscillations detected inside a cuff inflated to pressurize a measurement site of a subject undergoing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The pressure oscillations detected inside the cuff are indicative of a pulse of the subject. The processor (102) is also configured to trigger a blood pressure measurement for the subject based on the pressure oscillations detected inside the cuff.

摘要: Techniques and systems include assessing health risk and predicting health events of a patient using measured biosignals. The biosignals may be transformed into a photoplethysmography (PPG) signal or pseudo PPG signal, for example, to measure blood volume changes in the patient's blood flow to derive data indicating a disease state or health-related characteristic, such as blood oxygen level, blood glucose level, heart rate variability, hemoglobin, respiration rate, or arrhythmia. Further, the biosignals can include vocal signals, health labels, and self-reported data related to a patient's health. Assessment and prediction techniques include training an artificial intelligence (AI) model to create embedding vectors based on the measured biosignal(s) that are then ingested by a prediction model to assess and/or predict a patient's health risk and/or health events.

摘要: A cardiovascular health assessment score, representing a working tissue flow and indicating the dependence on central and peripheral control mechanisms, is generated by an evaluation system and used to support a variety of individualized medicine and health applications. One or more of the individualized medicine and health applications may be implemented as part of the evaluation system and incorporate the cardiovascular health assessment.

摘要: The invention provides a body-worn system that continuously measures pulse oximetry and blood pressure, along with motion, posture, and activity level, from an ambulatory patient. The system features an oximetry probe that comfortably clips to the base of the patient's thumb, thereby freeing up their fingers for conventional activities in a hospital, such as reading and eating. The probe secures to the thumb and measures time-dependent signals corresponding to LEDs operating near 660 and 905 nm. Analog versions of these signals pass through a low-profile cable to a wrist-worn transceiver that encloses a processing unit. Also within the wrist-worn transceiver is an accelerometer, a wireless system that sends information through a network to a remote receiver, e.g. a computer located in a central nursing station.

摘要: A blood pressure monitor that includes an acceleration sensor attached to an arm, which is a measurement site, of a measurement subject, and an orientation detection unit that detects an orientation of the measurement subject during blood pressure measurement based on an output of the acceleration sensor. The orientation detection unit specifies the orientation of the measurement subject in accordance with a torso angle with respect to a bed surface in a view along a body height direction of the measurement subject lying on the bed surface, and the orientation of the arm position. The blood pressure monitor also includes a blood pressure measurement unit that measures a blood pressure value at the measurement site of the measurement subject, and a blood pressure correction unit that corrects the blood pressure value of the measurement subject according to the specified orientation of the measurement subject.

摘要: A control device is configured to: cause an inflating/deflating device to initiate a first air feeding to a cuff with a prescribed flow rate; calculate an estimated value of a capacity volume of the cuff based on a time length for which the internal pressure inflates from a first value to a second value; cause the inflating/deflating device to perform at least air exhausting before an inflation of the internal pressure reaches a steady state to deflate the internal pressure; determine, based on the estimated value, an air feeding flow rate for obtaining a prescribed inflating speed; cause the inflating/deflating device to initiate a second air feeding to the cuff with the air feeding flow rate before the internal pressure reaches zero; and measure blood pressure of the subject while the second air feeding is performed.
