摘要: Systems and methods for early measurement reporting with a Radio Resource Control (RRC) resume complete like message are disclosed. Embodiments of a method performed by a wireless device and corresponding embodiments of a wireless device are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving, from a network node, an indication with a first message to resume a connection with a target cell. The indication is an indication that the wireless device is to include measurements performed by the wireless device while in a dormant state with a second message that indicates that resuming of the connection with the target cell is complete. The method further comprises transmitting, to the network node, the measurements performed by the wireless device while in the dormant state with the second message.

An access category may be determined from a plurality of access categories and at least one access identity may be determined from a plurality of access identities to be applied for an access attempt. An establishment cause may be determined for the access attempt based on the access category determined from the plurality of access categories and based on the at least one access identity from the plurality of access identities. A connection request message for the access attempt may be transmitted to a wireless communication network, with the connection request message including the establishment cause determined based on the access category and based on the at least one access identity. Related devices are also discussed.

摘要: In one aspect, a wireless device is adapted to perform idle mode measurements. The wireless device performs and stores one or more radio signal measurements while in an idle mode or inactive state. The wireless device also deletes the stored radio signal measurements in response to any one of a number of events, such as receiving a RRC release message that does not include an idle mode measurement configuration, receiving an RRC release message while in RRC Connected state, receiving a handover message, or receiving a reconfiguration message adding a secondary cell for carrier aggregation.

The wireless device is communicating with the base station using a contiguous subset of physical resources on a first carrier. A method in a wireless device comprises obtaining an indication of a subset of a plurality of paging occasions in a SI modification period that the wireless device is configured to monitor, wherein responsive to an upcoming update of SI the base station is configured to transmit a notification on each of the plurality of paging occasions in the SI modification period; and monitoring the subset of the plurality of paging occasions for notifications of upcoming SI updates.

The RNN transmits, towards the wireless device, a transmission with a first transmission mode associated with a first level of coverage extension. When a first period of time has elapsed, the RNN transmits, towards the wireless device, the transmission using a second transmission mode associated with a second level of coverage extension. The second level of coverage extension is higher than the first level of coverage extension.
