    Abstract: An outer ring of a bearing device for a vehicle has a cylindrical main body extending from an inner vehicle side to an axially opposite side. The main body has a raceway at an inner peripheral surface. A flange is provided at an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring toward the ring's vehicle inner side end. A cylindrical fitting tolerance part also is provided at the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring, at a position closer to the vehicle inner side end than the flange. The axial length of the cylindrical fitting tolerance part may be designed to be any of various lengths. The bearing device is manufactured by turning the cylindrical main body while holding the flange, such as for embodiments in which the cylindrical fitting tolerance part has a short length unsuitable for holding.

    Abstract: A bearing device comprising a shaft body having an axially cylindrical portion in a free end side thereof and a rolling bearing fitted around an outer peripheral surface of the shaft body, wherein the cylindrical portion is bent and deformed radially outward by a rolling caulking to be caulked thereby on an outer end face of an inner ring of the rolling bearing. An inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion is formed by a turning work, and a residual stress left in a surface layer of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion by the turning work is set to a value capable of restraining a crack generation ratio in the inner peripheral surface to less than a predetermined rate, desirably to not more than 5 kgf/mm2.

    Abstract: A plurality of semiconductor chips are sequentially mounted on a rotary table, heated on the rotary table for a predetermined time, and ejected from the rotary table. The semiconductor chips ejected from the rotary table are fed to a bonding apparatus. The semiconductor chips are heated while the rotary table is stationary and are held to the rotary table by a vacuum chuck. The position of a semiconductor chip is adjusted before the semiconductor chip is ejected from the rotary table.
