摘要: A medical device and a treatment method are disclosed, which can improve safety by reducing damage to a biological tissue while an object inside a biological lumen can be cut. A medical device is disclosed for cutting an object inside a biological lumen includes a rotatable drive shaft, and a rotary structure that interlocks with a distal side of the drive shaft so as to be rotated by the drive shaft. The rotary structure has a cutting portion for cutting the object, and a non-cutting portion capable of smoothly coming into contact with a biological tissue. The non-cutting portion is located in a maximum outer diameter portion of the rotary structure.

摘要: A medical device and can remove an object inside a biological lumen while allowing a positional change of the device inside the biological lumen. The medical device includes a drive shaft, an outer tube accommodating the drive shaft, a cutting portion fixed to a distal portion of the drive shaft, and a hub unit housing proximal portions of the drive shaft and the outer tube. The hub unit has an operation unit fixed to the outer surface of the outer tube to rotate the outer tube, a first support portion rotatably supporting the operation unit, a first housing having an aspiration port for discharging fluid to outside, and causing communication of an aspiration lumen of the outer tube with the aspiration port, and a first seal between the first housing and the outer tube. The first support portion and the first seal are disposed in parallel along an axial direction.

摘要: A urethral stricture treatment apparatus and treatment method are disclosed, which can easily inhibit the position of a medical material from deviating from a treatment site and can make the medical material selectively indwell different treatment sites. The urethral stricture treatment apparatus can have a dilation portion, which dilates in a state of holding a medical material providing an epithelial function so as to bring the medical material into contact with an inner wall of urethra, and a restriction portion which is provided in a position closer to a distal side than the dilation portion in an insertion direction such that a distance between the restriction portion and the dilation portion can be relative changed, and comes into contact with external urethral sphincter in a living body so as to restrict the movement of the medical material toward the distal side.
