摘要: There is disclosed a combination of a target of a material other than metals and one of opposed electrodes of a sputtering apparatus for the deposition of thin films on substrates wherein the target is soldered on the electrodes by a low-melting alloy consisting essentially of a Pb-Sn-Zn alloy and at least one additive selected from the group consisting of Sb, Al, Ti, Si, Cd and Cu.This target installation enables to prevent porous or poor heat-conducting targets from the breakage resulting from the increase of the film-forming rate or physical properties of the target material such as ceramics, glasses, resins and the like.

摘要: The absorbent article has an outer sheet that provides an outer surface of the absorbent article, an inner sheet disposed on the inner side of the outer sheet, and elastic members for making below-waist gathers disposed between the two sheets. A patterned sheet is disposed between the outer and inner sheets such that the pattern of the patterned sheet may be seen through the outer sheet from the outside of the diaper. The elastic members for below-waist gathers each have a portion contributory to elastic extensibility and contractibility in the regions outside the lateral sides of the patterned sheet and a portion substantially non-contributory to elastic extensibility and contractibility in the region inside the lateral sides of the patterned sheet. The latter portion of the elastic member is disposed between the patterned sheet and the inner sheet and preferably is kept out of sight from the outside.

摘要: A refrigerant compressor is configured such that a compressor unit is installed in a hermetically sealed container, an HFC type refrigerant or a mixture thereof and a refrigerator oil having compatibility with the refrigerant are charged into the hermetically sealed container, and the refrigerator oil essentially comprises a polyvinyl ether type compound having structural units represented by the following general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein n is an integral number in the range of 1 or more, R1 to R3 are each a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms and may be the same or different, R4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and units in which R4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms are 40 to 100% and units in which R4 is an alkyl group having 3 to 4 carbon atoms are 0 to 60%. As a result, the generation of a carboxylic acid caused by thermal cracking or hydrolysis due to frictional heat generated by sliding members is prevented and the generation of sludge is thereby suppressed.

摘要: A vibrating element for the vibration under an expansion mode has a substrate made of a constant modulus alloy having a plate shape which is symmetrical along a line extending across the substrate. At least one pair of projections extends from opposite sides of the substrate symmetrically with respect to the line. A thin piezoelectric film is deposited on the substrate, and a vibration electrode film is further deposited on the piezoelectric film. The pair of projections are provided to be trimmed to adjust the vibration frequency of the vibrating element.

In the supply process, the thread-shaped elastic body (7) is introduced to the elastic body winding means (14) while adjusting a speed of the thread-shaped elastic body (7) to be equal to or higher than a winding speed against the pair of conveying belts (12, 13) with speed adjusting means (15B) which is arranged at the upstream side of the elastic body winding means (14).
