摘要: An apparatus for photographing the ground continuously from an airplane, and for recording the photographed images in digital form in real time. A three-line sensor camera comprising a forward-oblique line sensor, a vertical line sensor and a backward-oblique line sensor is on board. The three-line sensor camera has a gyro integrally connected thereto. Data of the camera's attitude available from the gyro, digital data of the land images available from the camera and data of the airplane's position available from an airborne GPS are recorded and reproduced. The camera is controlled with the aid of the gyro so that its optical axis may be held in a vertical direction at all times.

摘要: A printer comprises a rotatable platen for supporting a sheet and a printhead which is capable of moving along the platen to print data on the sheet. A paper bail shaft supports paper bail rollers rotatably so as to be faced to the platen. A printhead retreating unit makes the printhead retreat to a position opposed to one end of the platen at the time of a paper feed operation. Arms serve as a paper bail retreating unit to separate the paper bail rollers from the platen at the time of the paper feed operation by displacing one end of the paper bail shaft a greater distance from the platen than the other end where the printhead is retreated.

摘要: A temperature compensating capacitor of monolithic or multilayered configuration comprising a dielectric ceramic body and at least two electrodes buried therein. The ceramic body is composed of a major ingredent expressed by the formula, {(Sr.sub.1-x Ca.sub.x)O}.sub.k (Ti.sub.1-y Zr.sub.y)O.sub.2, where x, k and y are numerals in the ranges of 0.005 to 0.995 inclusive, 1.00 to 1.04 inclusive, and 0.005 to 0.100 inclusive, respectively. To this major ingredient is added a minor proportion of a mixture of boric oxide, silicon dioxide, and one or more metal oxides selected from among barium oxide, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, strontium oxide and calcium oxide. For the fabrication of capacitors the mixture of the above major ingredient and additives in finely divided form are formed into moldings of desired shape and size, each with at least two electrodes buried therein. The moldings and electrodes are cosintered in a reductive or neutral atmosphere and then are reheated at a lower temperature in an oxidative atmosphere. The cosintering temperature can be so low that nickel or like base metal can be employed as the electrode material.

摘要: A monolithic ceramic capacitor having a higher DC breakdown voltage per unit thickness of the dielectric ceramic body than heretofore. The major ingredient of the ceramic is expressed as {(Ba.sub.1-x-y Ca.sub.x Sr.sub.y)O}.sub.k (Ti.sub.1-z Zr.sub.z)O.sub.2, where x, y, z and k are numerals in the ranges specified herein. To this major ingredient is added a minor proportion of a mixture of boric oxide, silicon dioxide and at least one metal oxide selected from among BaO, SrO and CaO, in specified ranges of proportions. For the fabrication of capacitors having dielectric bodies of the above composition, the moldings of the mixture of the major ingredient and additives in the specified proportions are sintered to maturity in a reductive or neutral atmosphere and then reheated at a lower temperature in an oxidative atmosphere. The sintering temperature can be so low (1000.degree.-1200.degree. C.) that the moldings can be cosintered with base metal electrodes buried therein.

摘要: In the method of obtaining captures images, there is overlaps in images in the flight direction and in a direction (cross direction) that crosses the flight direction. A predetermined number of the captured images containing overlapping sections that include a target point are selected out of the obtained images in the flight direction and/or the cross direction. From the overlap sections of these captured images, selected images are obtained by selecting image sections within a specific range that contains the target point. Using the flight direction and the cross direction as axes for a matrix, the selected images are arranged to create an aerial photograph data set.

摘要: At a predetermined position during the lateral movement of a carriage 10, a gap switching mechanism 30 for switching a gap between a recording head 15 and a recording medium is provided. The recording head 15 is mounted facing downward on the carriage 10. A part close to one side on a lower end of the carriage is slidably and pivotably supported by a guide shaft 11 of a round shaft shape. A switching block member 13 provided with several abutment portions 52 and 53 with different heights, which are positioned so as to be opposed to a slide portion 12a at an upper end of a frame 12 extending in a vertical direction along a back of the carriage. The A switching block member 13 is pivotably supported by the carriage. A first pushing portion 56 is located at a left end of the frame so as to abut against the switching block member 13. A pivotal posture of the first pushing portion is changed due to the abutment to bring the abutment portion 53 into a slide contact relationship with the frame 12, so that a small gap is provided. A second pushing portion 57 is located at a right end of the frame so as to abut against the switching block member 13, a pivotal posture of the first pushing portion is changed according to the abutment to bring the abutment portion 52 into a slide contact relationship with the frame 12, so that a large gap is provided.
