    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a belt configured to convey a sheet, a plurality of rollers over which the belt is stretched, the plurality of rollers including a drive roller to which a drive force is to be applied, a support portion configured to support at least one of the plurality of rollers in a manner that allows the at least one of the plurality of rollers to rotate, an ejection portion configured to eject ink onto the sheet conveyed by the belt, a movable member placed in a movable manner on an inner circumferential surface side of the belt in order to adjust a distance between the ejection portion and an outer circumferential surface of the belt at a position opposed to the ejection portion, a cam configured to displace a position of the movable member.

    a main structure, arranged to be rested on a support surface;
    a printing head, associated with the main structure and movable along a substantially horizontal transverse direction, for a predetermined stroke in alternating and opposite directions;
    a transport device, arranged to lead a material to be printed forwards along a longitudinal direction which is substantially horizontal and perpendicular to the transverse direction.




    The transport device is removably associated with the main structure by means of connection means. The connection means is arranged to assume an operating configuration, in which the transport device is connected to the main structure in a substantially rigid manner with respect to direct movements along the longitudinal direction and with respect to direct movements along the transverse direction, and a non-operating configuration, in which the transport device is movable with respect to the main structure.

The printing device includes: a base part having an opening on a side and multiple first slits and second slits disposed side by side in an up-down direction; a support member for supporting the object, slidably engaged with any first and second slit among the first and second slits in a lateral direction from the opening side and being slidable through the opening between a pull-out position pulled out from the base part and a storage position stored in the base part; and a head part disposed above the support member at the storage position and ejecting ink toward the object supported by the support member.

    Abstract: A method for adjusting a printing apparatus, which the printing apparatus includes: a platen for supporting the medium, an imaging unit, a winding shaft for winding the medium, a shaft adjusting mechanism configured to adjust the position of the winding shaft, and a notifying unit configured to perform notification, comprising: a jig installing step for attaching one end of a strip-shaped jig, on which graduations are formed, to the winding shaft, and locking the jig to the platen, along a transporting path at both ends in a width direction of the medium, an imaging step for imaging the graduations by the imaging unit at two locations different from each other, in a direction orthogonal to a transport direction of the medium on the platen, a notifying step for notifying a result based on an image imaged by the imaging unit, and an adjusting step for adjusting the shaft adjusting mechanism.
