Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise: at least one wireless communication circuit; a touch screen display; a processor operatively connected to the at least one wireless communication circuit and the touch screen display; and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: receive first information on a first external electronic device and a second external electronic device through the at least one wireless communication circuit; determine a location and/or a direction of the first external electronic device and a location and/or a direction of the second external electronic device at least partly on the basis of a signal acquired through the at least one wireless communication circuit and/or second information received through the at least one wireless communication circuit; provide the touch screen display with a graphical user interface (GUI) indicating the first external electronic device and the second external electronic device, at least partly on the basis of the determined location and/or the determined direction; receive, through the touch screen display, a gesture input for selection of the first external electronic device and the second external electronic device; and transmit, through the wireless communication circuit, third information related to an operation of using the first external electronic device and the second external electronic device. Various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method for forming a Wi-Fi direct group thereof are provided. The electronic device may include a housing, a wireless communication circuit, at least one processor, and a memory. The memory may cause the at least one processor to receive a first list of wireless channels for a direct connection from a first external device, establish, as a group owner, a first wireless connection with the first external device acting as a group client by using a first channel selected from the first list, listen for a probe request over a second channel every selected time period, receive the probe request from a second external device during the selected time period through the second channel, transmit a probe response to the second external device, receive a second list of wireless channels for a direct connection from the second external device, and select a third channel.

The memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to establish a communication connection with a first external electronic device based on the first BT address, end the communication connection with the first external electronic device, receive a reconnection request based on the first BT address from the first external electronic device, transmit a communication connection request to the first external electronic device based on a second BT address different from the first BT address, using the communication circuitry in response to the reconnection request, and store information about whether the first external electronic device accepts or declines the communication connection request in the memory.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided, which includes a housing, at least one wireless communication circuit located inside the housing and configured to transmit and receive a wireless signal in accordance with the IEEE 802.11 standard, a processor operatively connected to the wireless communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the processor and configured to store target wake time (TWT) configuration information based on a quality of service (QoS) individually related to at least one service type, wherein the memory, when executed, stores instructions to cause the processor to broadcast a signal including the TWT configuration information using the wireless communication circuit, receive, from an external electronic device, an authority request for a first TWT at least partly based on the broadcasted information, transmit an authority approval for the first TWT to the external electronic device based on the TWT configuration information and the authority request, and transmit and receive data with the external electronic device at a time selected by the TWT configuration information based on the first TWT. Other certain embodiments are possible.
