The electronic device includes a communication circuit, and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication circuit, wherein the at least one processor is configured to establish, via the communication circuit, a communication connection with a display device, identify channel information about a first channel on which the communication connection is established, identify image information about an image displayed in the display device, and based on the channel information about the first channel and the image information, identify whether the electronic device is capable of transmitting a data frame each communication cycle which corresponds to a frame rate provided in the display device.

The electronic device includes a speaker, a communication circuit, a processor operably connected to the speaker and the communication circuit, and a memory operably connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores instructions for causing the processor, when executed, to identify a first wireless communication connection event, when the first wireless communication connection event is identified, select one wireless communication connection list from among a first wireless communication connection list of the electronic device and a second wireless communication connection list of a counterpart electronic device, identify, from the selected wireless communication connection list, an external electronic device for which a wireless communication connection is to be established, establish a wireless communication connection to the external electronic device identified from the selected wireless communication connection list, and output, through the speaker, a signal received from the identified external electronic device. Various embodiments are possible.

摘要: According to various embodiments, a method of controlling data communication of an electronic device, the method comprising performing the directional wireless communication together with an external electronic device capable of performing the directional wireless communication and the omni-directional wireless communication, by using the first wireless communication circuit, determining the distance between an electronic device and the external electronic device, at least partially on the basis of a signal of the external electronic device received by using the second wireless communication circuit, when the stop or degradation of the directional wireless communication is detected, and determining whether to reattempt the directional wireless communication using the first wireless communication circuit, at least partially on the basis of the determined distance or to start the omni-directional wireless communication using the second wireless communication circuit. Other embodiments are possible.
