    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and a spacer. The first substrate includes a gate line extending in a first direction, a data line extending in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction, and a gate electrode branched from the gate line.
