    Abstract: A display device improves horizontal crosstalk and an aperture ratio, and includes: a substrate; a gate line and a data line formed on the substrate; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; a light block overlapping the thin film transistor on the pixel electrode; a light block passivation layer overlapping the thin film transistor and the data line on the light block; a common electrode formed on the pixel electrode, spaced apart from the pixel electrode with a plurality of microcavities interposed therebetween; a roof layer formed on the common electrode; an injection hole exposing a part of each of the plurality of microcavities; a liquid crystal layer filling the plurality of microcavities; and an encapsulation layer formed on the roof layer covering the injection hole to seal the microcavity.

The laminated member is positioned on at least one surface of the display panel. The light blocking layer is positioned outside the display area and is disposed on one of the display panel or the laminated member. The alignment pattern is disposed on the other of the display panel and the laminated member correspondingly to an edge of the light blocking layer, and is configured to measure a misalignment between the display panel and the laminated member.

    Abstract: A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a plurality of pixels each including first and second switching elements connected to a first gate line and a data line. Each pixel also includes a first memory capacitor connected to the first switching element and a capacitance voltage line, a second memory capacitor connected to the second switching element and the capacitance voltage line, and a third switching element and a fourth switching element each connected to a second gate line and a reference voltage line. Each pixel further includes a fifth switching element connected to a third gate line and the first memory capacitor, a sixth switching element connected to the third gate line and the second memory capacitor, a first subpixel electrode connected to the third and fifth switching elements, and a second subpixel electrode connected to the fourth and sixth switching element.
