Abstract: This inspection system for a concentrator photovoltaic apparatus includes: a module; a tracking mount configured to track the sun, the tracking mount having mounted thereto an array formed by assembling a plurality of the modules; an inverter apparatus to extract a direct-current power generated by the array, convert the direct-current power into an alternating-current power, and output the alternating-current power; and an imaging apparatus being positioned between the sun and the array tracking the sun, the imaging apparatus taking an image of the array from a direction orthogonal to a surface of the array. While the array is tracking the sun and is causing sunlight to be concentrated on the cell, the inverter apparatus produces a state where extraction of a power from the array is restricted, to cause the cell to spontaneously emit light, and the imaging apparatus takes an image of the emitted light of the cell.

Abstract: This method for detecting a poor module-mounting-state in a concentrator photovoltaic apparatus includes: photographing a surface of an array by an imaging device; obtaining an image in which a virtual image, magnified through a condenser lens, of a light receiving portion including a cell and a vicinity thereof is formed, and a collection of pixels of the virtual image forms a composite virtual image of an entirety of the light receiving portion, the composite virtual image being projected over a plurality of modules; and detecting a poor module-mounting-state based on a form of the composite virtual image.

Abstract: A mounting structure of a housing 11 for a concentrator photovoltaic module 1M includes: a bottom plate 15 framed from an electric conductor and having a plurality of cells 12c arrayed thereat; a side wall frame 16 made of resin, the side wall frame 16 standing along the outer edge of the bottom plate 15 and configured to hold a concentrating portion 13 so as to face the bottom plate 15; a pair of the frames 8 (support member) each being a grounded electric conductor, the pair of the frames 8 configured to be in contact with the bottom plate 15 to support the module 1M; and bolts 25 and nuts 26, as a fastening member, configured to fasten the pair of the frames 8 and the bottom plate 15 to each other thereby to fix the module 1M to the pair of the frames 8, the bolts 25 and the nuts 26 each being an electric conductor thereby to serve as paths for electric connection from the bottom plate 15 to the pair of the frames 8.

Abstract: This concentrator photovoltaic module 1M includes: a housing 11 having an open face 11a on one face thereof; a plurality of cells 21 provided in a form of an array on a bottom plate 14 of the housing 11; and a lens panel 13 being a concentrating member, being mounted on the housing 11 so as to cover the open face 11a, being disposed so as to face the bottom plate 14, and being composed of a plurality of Fresnel lenses 13f formed at positions corresponding to the cells 21 on respective optical axes of the Fresnel lenses 13f, the Fresnel lenses 13f each being a condenser lens for concentrating sunlight. In the concentrator photovoltaic module 1M, the housing 11 includes a frame 15 composed of side wall plates 16 which are formed from resin and which are provided so as to stand along the outer edge of the bottom plate 14, and inward from the frame 15, a shielding plates 30 configured to block sunlight concentrated by the Fresnel lenses 13f from being applied to inner side-surfaces 16b of the side wall plates 16 are provided so as to project inward relative to the inner side-surfaces 16b.

Abstract: A concentrator photovoltaic module 1M includes a vessel-shaped housing 11 composed of a metal and a flexible printed wiring board 12 provided so as to be in contact with an inner surface of the housing 11. The flexible printed wiring board 12 includes an insulating layer 124, an insulating substrate 121a, a pattern 121b, a plurality of power generation elements 122, and an insulting layer 126. The insulating layer 124 is in contact with a bottom surface 11a of the housing 11. The insulating substrate 121a is provided on the insulating layer 124 and has flexibility. The pattern 121b is composed of a conductor and is provided on the insulating substrate 121a. The plurality of power generation elements 122 are mounted on the pattern 121b. The insulating layer 126 is provided so as to cover an entire surface of the pattern 121b except for portions where the power generation elements 122 are mounted.
