Abstract: The invention relates to a method (100) for switching between desired value filters (26, 28) of a drive means (52) for a machine axis (10, 12) during operation. An input signal (20) is applied to the first and to the second desired value filter (26, 28) for producing a first and a second output signal (23, 33). Then any deviation between the first and the second output signal (23, 33) is determined. If the deviation falls below a threshold value, the first desired value filter (26) is separated from the drive means (52) and substantially simultaneously the second desired value filter (28) is connected to the drive means (52). The desired value filters (26, 28) have different running times (19).

Abstract: A machine tool includes a machine control unit to output control signals to drives for machine elements. A tool which machines a workpiece is thereby moved relative to the workpiece in a position-controlled manner. Arranged in a first region of one machine element is an active vibration damper to damp vibration in a second region of the machine elements as the workpiece is machined by the tool. In order to detect the vibration, a first sensor is arranged in the first region of the machine element and a second sensor is arranged on another machine element or in a different region of the one machine element. Actual values detected by the first and second sensors and corresponding target values are supplied to a dual controller which determines on the basis of these values, a resulting manipulated variable for the active vibration damper and actuates the active vibration damper accordingly.

Abstract: A control facility for controlling a controlled system experiencing a disturbance includes a front nodal point receiving a target value and an actual value outputted by the controlled system and supplying a difference value corresponding to a difference between the target value and the actual value to a compensation circuit. The compensation circuit supplies a frequency-filtered and time-delayed signal formed as the sum of the weighted difference value and a weighted feedback signal as an input to a controller for the controlled system. The sum of a filter delay time and of first and second propagation delays is an integer multiple of the cycle duration of the disturbance, and a sum of the filter delay time and the first propagation delay is an integer multiple of the cycle duration minus a propagation time, which elapses until a change in the target value causes a change in the actual value.

Abstract: A closed-loop control device to control a system to be controlled includes a front node, back node, external tapping point, controller and compensating circuit. The compensating circuit has an inner node, frequency filter, front buffer and back buffer. The front node determines a difference; the back node supplies an external sum signal. A setting device automatically suppresses use of the output signal of the front buffer, supplies the back buffer and the back node with a first excitation signal as the compensation signal and detects a first result signal produced by the first excitation signal. The first result signal is one of the control difference, internal sum signal, output filtered signal of the frequency filter or output signal of the front buffer. The setting device evaluates the first excitation signal and the first result signal, sets a parameter of the frequency filter and the second propagation delay.

Abstract: In a method for guiding a cutting head in relation to a material, a position and a speed of the cutting head are set by means of a drive unit depending on a desired position value and a desired speed value established by an interpolator unit, a control signal for the drive unit is determined, a distance between the cutting head and the material is determined with a distance sensor, and a corresponding distance signal is provided. The distance signal is compared with a predetermined comparison distance to yield a distance-control signal, and the control signal for the drive unit is additionally determined dependent upon a distance-control signal. The comparison distance is subtracted from the distance signal and the difference is superimposed on the actual position signal, which is delayed by a first time period, wherefrom the distance-control signal is determined.
