The stacking station (8) comprises a device (9) for handling the pods (1) which guides and controls the stack (Ia, 1b) of pods (1) as it is fed into a respective bag-like packet (11).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a new class of compounds with action inhibiting carnitine palmitoyl transferase (CPT), pharmaceutical compounds which contain at least one new compound according to the invention, and their therapeutic use in the treatment of hyperglycaemic conditions such as diabetes and the pathologies associated with it, congestive heart failure and obesity.
Abstract:
A blistering machine (M1) for producing blister packs (B1) has a production line, which includes consecutively: at least one thermoforming station (101) of a first continuous band (102) of thermoformable material, a station (105) for feeding the products (104) and filling the blister band (102); a feeding station (106) of a second band (107), feeding the second band (107) over the blister band (102) a closing station (108), including two opposite rollers (112, 113); and a cutting station (R1), in which the blister pack band is cut into respective blister packs (B1). Tension means (114) are situated upstream of the closing station (108), to cooperate with the rollers (112, 113) of the closing station (108), to perform a selected tension on at least the first band (102).
Abstract:
A brake rotor having an annular disc connected to an annular mounting flange, the mounting flange defining a radially inner flange wall and including a plurality of circumferentially spaced mounting holes, in which the flange wall includes a plurality of recesses, with each recess situated circumferentially between adjacent mounting holes in which the brake rotor includes ventilation vanes between opposing braking faces of the annular disc with at least some ventilation vanes including inner vane portions which extend inwardly of a radially inner edge of the annular disc.
Abstract:
A blistering machine (M1) for producing blister packs (B1) has a production line including, arranged in a series: at least one thermoforming station (101) of a first continuous band (102) of thermoformable material, in order to define a blister band (102) with blisters containing products (104); a station (105) for feeding the products (104) and filling the blister band (102) with the products; a feeding station (106) of a second band (107), feeding continuously the second band (107) over the blister band (102) to form a blister pack band (NB1); a closing station (108), where the first blister band (102) is sealed by the second band (107) to obtain a blister pack; a station (200) for processing the blister pack band (NB1); and a cutting station (R1), in which the blister pack band is cut into respective blister packs (B1) filled with the products (104). The production line extends, at least beginning from the products feeding station (105), along a continuous feeding path (A1), substantially horizontal. The processing station (200), along the path (A1), is defined by at least one printing/debossing station (109,110) of the blister pack band (NB1), which includes a printing/debossing device (135,136), moving continuously toward and away from the blister pack band (NB1) and following the blister pack band (NB1) along the path (A1).

Abstract:
A brake actuating apparatus includes a force transmission element operable to transmit a brake actuating force and an abutment member moveable to abut the force transmission element. A piezo-electric device operable on expansion applies a force between the abutment member and the force transmission element to move the force transmission element in a direction of brake actuation. A support member moveable independently of the abutment member supports the force transmission element in the new position following expansion of the piezo-electric device.
Abstract:
A caliper for a fixed twin rotor disc brake includes a relatively fixed body, two yokes movable axially with respect to the body, formations defined on the yokes for receiving four brake pads for respective application to rotor sides, and an actuator adapted to urge the yokes relatively axially. One of the yokes is operable to urge two of the four brake pads in a first axial direction, the other of the yokes is operable to urge the other two of the four brake pads in a second, opposite axial direction. The four brake pads are positioned on a first side of the actuator in the first axial direction.
