Abstract: User Equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), at least one resource block (RB). The RB includes at least one reference signal (RS) resource element (RE) of a first physical channel of the UE. The UE estimates a channel quality of a second physical channel of the UE as a function of the at least one RS RE. In some examples, the BS associates the transmission of a first physical channel reference signal (RS) and the transmission of a second physical channel RS. The BS then signals, BS to the UE, the association between the first physical channel reference signal and the second physical channel reference signal.

Abstract: Techniques are described for supporting user equipment (UE) positioning in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). To allow calculating a position/location of a UE based on reference signal (RS) measurements to and from one satellite (or a terrestrial base station), a device may be configured to calculate a doppler measurement and a range measurement and report such measurements to be used by a location server to calculate a UE position. An example device may receive a first RS (with the first RS being one of a positioning reference signal (PRS) or a sounding reference signal (SRS)), receive a second RS associated with the first RS, calculate a doppler measurement based on one or both of the first RS or the second RS, and report the doppler measurement. The doppler measurement (such as a measured frequency offset) may be used by a location server to calculate a UE position on the earth surface.

In one aspect, the wireless device may transmit a first report based on one of a location of the wireless wearable device, a time period, or reception of a user-controlled indication to transmit the first report. The wireless device may also receive, based on the transmitted first report, a configuration to switch from a first mode to a second mode. In some aspects, the configuration can include at least one parameter associated with a power savings at the wireless wearable device while in the second mode. Additionally, the wireless device can operate based on the at least one parameter while in the second mode.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for providing improved power efficiency during DRX wake-up are disclosed. An example method of wireless communication at a UE includes receiving a WUS from a base station while performing a DRX cycle, the WUS indicating data for transmission to the UE. The example method also includes at least one receiving a downlink reference signal or transmitting an uplink reference signal based on the WUS and prior to reception of the data, the uplink reference signal transmitted or the downlink reference signal received during an on-duration of the DRX cycle and in response to receiving the WUS. The example method also includes sending a CSI report to the base station based on the WUS and prior to the receiving of the data. The example method also includes receiving the data following the respective receiving or transmitting of the downlink reference signal or uplink reference signal.

Abstract: Systems and methods for discontinuous reception (DRX) adaptation in a wireless communication system are provided. A network entity may configure a user equipment (UE) with a long DRX cycle. Under certain conditions, additional short DRX cycles may be activated by the network entity so that data may be transferred before the next DRX active time. Multiple aspects are described wherein short DRX cycle parameters are communicated explicitly or implicitly to the UE. Short DRX cycle parameters may be included and/or indicated by bits in a downlink control information (DCI) or a Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) command received by the UE during the long DRX active time.

One technique involves receiving channel state information (CSI) report(s) from a UE operating in FD mode. At least one of a TB configuration or feedback type for a communication slot is determined based on the CSI report(s). The communication slot can include half duplex (HD) symbol(s) and FD symbol(s). An indication of at least one of the TB configuration or the feedback type is signaled to the UE. Another technique involves receiving, from a base station (BS), downlink data transmission(s) across a slot(s). A type of duplexing mode associated with each of the slot(s) is determined. The downlink data transmission(s) are acknowledged, based at least in part on the type of duplexing mode associated with each of the slot(s).

Abstract: Aspects relate to measuring downlink beam quality in the presence of self-interference when operating in a full duplex mode configured for concurrent transmission and reception within an overlapping bandwidth. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may obtain updated location information, and determine a time difference between a previous communication with a network and a scheduled uplink transmission. Based on the determined time difference, the UE may determine a timing advance (TA) component of a TA value to apply for the uplink transmission, and transmit an uplink message in the uplink transmission according to the determined TA value and the location information. In some examples, the time difference may be based on a first duration between the uplink transmission and a previous uplink transmission, a second duration between the uplink transmission and a previous TA command received from the network, or both. In some examples, the determined TA value may be based on additional parameters, such as an autonomous adjustment step, an aggregate adjustment rate, a scaling factor, or any combination thereof.
