Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to mechanisms and algorithms for a vehicle to join a vehicle group. The vehicle may transmit a query message that includes an identifier, and includes vehicle course information. In response, the vehicle may receive an invitation message that includes a group identifier, group course information, and wireless resource information for joining a vehicle group. The vehicle may then transmit a joining request message, including the first group identifier.

Abstract: Aspects are provided for dynamic resource sharing between V2V and I2V communications. A wireless device selects resources from a shared resource pool in frequency and time. The shared resource pool is shared for I2V communication and communication over a PC5 interface originating from a User Equipment (UE). The wireless device identifies a first priority level for communication from a set of priority levels for I2V communication and UE originated communication. The set of priority levels may comprise at least one priority level unique to the I2V communication.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide methods and apparatus for network-controlled DRVCC. In an embodiment method, a wireless user equipment may include requesting handover of a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) call from a first network to a second network, activating a second radio, continuing the voice call on the circuit switched (CS) domain of the second network, and communicating data for applications other than the voice call via the first network. An embodiment method may include determining whether the first network supports voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) calls, and deactivating a radio in response to determining that the first network supports VoLTE calls. An embodiment method may include determining whether a quality of the VoIP call satisfies a quality threshold, deactivating the radio continued to the second network when the quality of the VoIP call satisfies the quality threshold, and activating the second radio when the VoIP call quality does not satisfy the quality threshold.

Abstract: Various aspects related to a platooning group in a V2V and/or V2X network are described. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus maybe a first UE configured to transmit a first message to announce an existence of the platooning group. In one configuration, the first UE may receive, in response to the first message, a second message indicating a request to join the platooning group from a second UE. The first UE may allow or deny the second UE to join the platooning group based on the second message. In another aspect, the apparatus maybe a first UE configured to receive a first message indicating an existence of a platooning group. The first UE may be configured to decode a portion of the first message, and determine whether the platooning group is a private group based on the decoding.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback message for a broadcast/multicast communication is to be transmitted. The UE may transmit the NACK feedback message, via a radio access network (RAN), to a broadcast/multicast control plane function device of a core network based at least in part on determining that the NACK feedback message is to be transmitted. The UE may receive a retransmission of the broadcast/multicast communication based at least in part on transmitting the NACK feedback message.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a method and apparatus for performing tessellation in a graphics process. A graphics processing unit may be configured to determine tessellation factors for a first patch of the graphics data, determine, based on the tessellation factors, that a first edge of an outermost ring of the first patch will produce only degenerated sub-primitives, and skip performing tessellation for the first edge. A graphics processing unit may determine that a second edge of the outermost ring of the first patch will produce at least some normal sub-primitives, and perform tessellation for the second edge to produce output primitives.
