摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A plurality of public land mobile networks (PLMNs) across the plurality of different mobile network operators (MNOs) may participate in a shared operator service offering for facilitating provision of intelligent services in ambient computing environments. A first network entity, such as a reader device, may receive from an energy harvesting (EH)-capable device in an ambient computing environment a back-scattered signal that includes identification information associated with the EH-capable device. In some cases, the first network entity and the EH-capable device may be associated with different PLMNs or different MNOs. Based on configuration information indicating a type of enrichment information to collect, the first network device may obtain enrichment information associated with the EH-capable device and may cause the identification information and the enrichment information to be transmitted to a second network entity.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for measurement of reference signals by an aerial user equipment (UE), and reporting of the measurements to a serving base station. An aerial UE may initiate one or more measurements based on one or more height thresholds, and may transmit measurement reports that provide an indication of height along with measured parameters. An aerial UE may also provide an indication of a number of other aerial UEs or other aerial vehicles that are detected within a vicinity of the aerial UE, Reports of measurements (e.g., reference signal received power (RSRP) measurements) by multiple UEs for multiple different locations and heights may be used to determine coverage maps and/or drone density maps for multiple different heights or altitudes.

A multicast architecture may support flexible change between unicast and multicast operations and may support additional traffic types (e.g., Internet Protocol and Ethernet traffic). For example, the multicast architecture may include transmitting data over a shared multicast radio bearer (MRB) and/or specific data radio bearers (DRBs), a multicast user plane function (UPF) for supplying the multicast data to a base station, multicast data from different radio access networks (RANs), protecting the multicast data through creating a group key, ciphering the multicast data sent on the MRB using the group key, and transitioning the multicast data from a source RAN to a target RAN.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may send a reporting capability to a network entity of a wireless network to indicate that the UE can report generalized unavailability periods to the wireless network for a plurality of different events, where the generalized unavailability periods comprise periods of time during which the UE does not have wireless communication access to the wireless network. The UE may later determine an upcoming unavailability period due to one or more of the plurality of events. The UE may then send an unavailability period report to the network entity prior to the unavailability period and indicative of the unavailability period. The UE may include in the report a start time, end time, duration and/or event for the unavailability period. The UE may later indicate to the network entity when the unavailability report has ended or has been cancelled or modified.

Some wireless communications systems may support multicast communications, which may relate to a multicast service (for example, a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS)). A communications device such as a UE may transition from an inactive or idle state to a connected state to receive multicast services and provide feedback to the network. A wireless network may implement different techniques to trigger the UE to transition from the idle or inactive state into the RRC connected state to receive multicast services. For example, the UE may receive a trigger message that indicates that the one or more multicast services are available for use by the UE, and the UE may determine whether to transition to an RRC connected state to receive the multicast services based on the trigger message.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive, from a 4G/LTE device and via a 5G/NR base station, a first handover command message identifying at least one of a measurement configuration or a measurement gap for identifying a 2G/3G cell, wherein the first handover command message is associated with a 5G/NR to 2G/3G handover of the UE via 4G/LTE; transmit, to the 4G/LTE device and via the 5G/NR base station, a measurement report regarding the 2G/3G cell based at least in part on the measurement configuration and/or the measurement gap; and tune to the 2G/3G cell based at least in part on a second handover message, received from the 4G/LTE device via the 5G/NR base station, for performance of the call via the 2G/3G cell. 摘要: Techniques are discussed herein for supporting periodic or triggered location of a user equipment (UE) using Early Data Transmission (EDT). A location server (LS), such as a 5G LMF, sends a request to a UE for periodic or triggered location and includes a request and/or criteria for using EDT. After confirming the request, the UE monitors for periodic or triggering events and, for each detected event, sends an event report to the LS which may include location information. In embodiments, the UE establishes a signaling connection with a RAN node but not with a core network to send the event report using EDT. The RAN node may then release the signaling connection, either immediately or after the LS returns a single response to the UE.
