Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A network device, such as a base station, may transmit a request message to a user equipment (UE). The request message may include a request for the UE to transmit a set of sounding reference signals (SRSs). The set of SRSs may include two (or more) beamformed signals. The network device may receive the set of SRSs according to the request message. The network device may identify, based on a co-phasing parameter associated with the two (or more) beamformed signals, an antenna port precoder configuration to use for communicating with the UE.

Abstract: A repeater BWP switching schedule is provided for a repeater that is responsive to a user equipment BWP switching schedule. Should the repeater support a plurality of active user equipments, the user equipment BWP switching schedule is a superset of the BWP switching schedule for each individual user equipment. The repeater BWP switching schedule may thus be more granular than the UE BWP switching schedule.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications supporting techniques for enhanced line-of-sight (LOS) communications with analog multi-path beamforming are described. A first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device, an indication of a capability of the second wireless device to concurrently transmit first signaling in a first analog beamforming direction using a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state corresponding to a LOS mode, and second signaling in a second analog beamforming direction using a second TCI state corresponding to an indirect LOS mode. The first wireless device may then receive, from the second wireless device, a first downlink message in the first analog beamforming direction using the first TCI state concurrently with a second downlink message in the second analog beamforming direction using the second TCI state.

For example, a communication system may include a repeater that relays communications between communication devices. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a relay/repeater unit (RU) in an integrated access/fronthaul (IAF) network, receives, from an upstream node, a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) message associated with a scheduled physical uplink control or shared channel (PUXCH) transmission from a downstream node at a scheduled time, and relays or repeats the first PDCCH message to the downstream node. If the scheduled PUXCH transmission associated with the first PDCCH message is not received from the downstream node at the scheduled time, the RU sends a negative acknowledgement (NACK) message associated with the scheduled PUXCH transmission to the upstream node. The RU may also or alternatively generate a second PDCCH message associated with a rescheduled PUXCH transmission and send the second PDCCH message to the downstream node.

Abstract: A first apparatus may communicate with a user equipment (UE) through an active beam. The first apparatus may transmit, to the UE, information indicating a periodicity at which control information is to be communicated on a control channel through a control-information beam. The first apparatus may communicate, with the UE, the control information on the control channel through the control-information beam at the periodicity. Further, the first apparatus may receive a request to change the active beam, which may indicate a beam index corresponding to a second beam, and the first apparatus may change the active beam to the second beam corresponding to the beam index indicated by the request.
