Abstract: An antifogging device includes: an optical system having one or a plurality of optical members including at least an objective lens; a hollow casing in which the optical system is stored; a heater configured to generate heat according to supplied power to heat a hollow space in the casing; a temperature sensor configured to detect temperature of the hollow space; a temperature controller configured to estimate temperature difference between the temperature detected by the temperature sensor and temperature of the optical member, based on a power value of the supplied power; and an overall controller configured to control the heater based on the temperature difference estimated by the temperature controller.

Abstract: An endoscope system having: an endoscope having: an endoscope insertion section configured to be inserted into a subject, wherein the endoscope insertion section defines a channel having a distal opening; and a power transmission electrode arranged to the endoscope insertion section and electrically connected to a power source configured to output a high-frequency power; and a treatment tool having: an electrically powered treatment device; a treatment tool insertion section attached to the electrically powered treatment device, wherein the treatment tool insertion section is configured to be arranged in the channel of the endoscope; and a power reception electrode arranged to the treatment tool insertion section, wherein the power reception electrode is separated from the power transmission electrode to form a capacitor to transfer power from the power source through an electric field between the power transmission electrode and the power reception electrode to power the electrically powered treatment device.

Abstract: An endoscope system having: an endoscope having: an endoscope insertion section wherein the endoscope defines a channel having a distal opening in the endoscope insertion section; and a first inductance element arranged to the channel, and configured to receive a high-frequency power to generate an AC magnetic field; and a treatment tool having: a treatment tool insertion section configured to be movably inserted in the channel; an electrically powered treatment device attached to the treatment tool insertion section; and a second inductance element arranged to the treatment tool insertion section, wherein the second inductance element is electrically connected to the electrically powered treatment device, and wherein the second inductance element is inductively coupled to the first inductance element such that the AC magnetic field induces an electromotive force to generate an induced current in the second inductance element to power the electrically powered treatment device.

Abstract: A lens frame unit includes a lens frame body that houses an optical member, a heat transfer unit that covers at least part of the lens frame body, a heat-generating unit, a temperature measurement unit that measures temperature and a same single electrical wiring board on which the heat-generating unit and the temperature measurement unit are mounted. The heat-generating unit and the temperature measurement unit are arranged on the electrical wiring board so as to be separated from each other, and the electrical wiring board is disposed such that the heat-generating unit and the temperature measurement unit are in contact with the heat transfer unit. Thermal resistance between closest positions of the heat-generating unit and the temperature measurement unit is greater than thermal resistance between the heat-generating unit and the heat transfer unit, and between the temperature measurement unit and the heat transfer unit.

Abstract: A treatment instrument includes a power receiver and a treatment section configured to be driven by power received by the power receiver. The power receiver includes a first solenoid-shaped power receiving coil and a second solenoid-shaped power receiving coil having a winding direction opposite to a winding direction of the first power receiving coil. The first power receiving coil and the second power receiving coil have the same length and the same number of turns, and are arranged concentrically. The first power receiving coil and the second power receiving coil are electrically connected to a treatment section so that a direction in which a current flows through the first power receiving coil is opposite to a direction in which a current flows through the second power receiving coil.
