    摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for switching on and off the internal combustion engine which drives a vehicle by way of a manual transmission. The manual transmission is associated with a clutch for producing and releasing the frictional connection between the internal combustion engine and drive train. The clutch has a clutch operator for producing and releasing the frictional connection to the drive train. The clutch is actuable by a driver by way of a clutch pedal. A variable representing the engaging speed of the clutch operator is detected. If this variable exceeds a limit value, the starting of the internal combustion engine is interrupted.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for switching on and off the internal combustion engine which drives a vehicle by means of a manual transmission. The manual transmission is associated with a clutch for producing and releasing the frictional connection between the internal combustion engine and drive train. The clutch has a clutch operator for producing and releasing the frictional connection to the drive train. The clutch is actuable by a driver by means of a clutch pedal. According to the invention, a variable representing the engaging speed of the clutch operator is detected. If this variable exceeds a limit value, the starting of the internal combustion engine is interrupted.
