    摘要: The present application provides a system and method for accelerated network service and/or network slice provisioning in response to customer requests or requirements. The provided system and method incorporate a network service/network slice instance that is responsible for constructing and maintaining status and models associated with the dynamics of network services. A modelling function can be operated based on collected network service information to maintain a model relating to network service dynamics, and transmit indications, such as predictions of future requirements, to a corresponding network management service. The indications can be used for creation, modification, and termination of the network service, or for advanced preparation of such actions.

    摘要: Implementations of a registration procedure are described. The registration procedure includes a Access and Mobility Function (AMF) selection procedure and a Session Management Function (SMF) selection procedure. The AMF receives a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) registration request pertaining a User Equipment (UE). At least partially in response to the registration request: the AMF registers the UE on the network; and establishes a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session for the UE. The AMF transmits a registration response to the UE. An access node of the network receives a Radio Resource Control (RRC) registration request from a User Equipment (UE). At least partially in response to the registration request: The access node selects an AMF, and forwards a corresponding Non-Access Stratum (NAS) registration request to the selected AMF. The NAS registration request includes PDU session request information pertaining to the UE.

The method includes: receiving, via at least one network interface of the network node, information indicative of a quality of each one of at least two radio channels including a first radio channel between a User Equipment and a master node and a second radio channel between the User Equipment and a secondary node; determining, based on the received information, a respective splitting flag value associated with each of the master and secondary nodes; and controlling packet duplication based on the respective splitting flag value associated with each of the master and secondary nodes.
