摘要: A honeycomb structure of the present invention includes a honeycomb structure body and a pair of electrode member arranged at a side surface of the honeycomb structure body. The honeycomb structure body has an electrical resistivity of 1 to 200 Ωcm, and the respective pair of electrode members is formed into a band-like shape extending in a direction in which the cells extend. In a cross section perpendicular to the cell extending direction, one of the electrode members is arranged opposite to another of the electrode members sandwiching a center of the honeycomb structure body. One or more of slits, which being open to a side surface, are formed at the honeycomb structure body. At least the one slit is formed so as not to intersect with a straight line connecting center portions of the respective pair of electrode members in the cross section perpendicular to the cell extending direction.

摘要: A honeycomb structure includes a tubular bonded honeycomb segment assembly having a plurality of honeycomb segments and a bonding layer which bonds side surfaces of the plurality of honeycomb segments to each other; and a pair of electrode members disposed on a side surface of the bonded honeycomb segment assembly, a volume resistivity of each of the honeycomb segments is from 1 to 200 Ωcm, at least a part of the bonding layer is made of a bonding material having a conductivity, a volume resistivity of the bonding layer is from 2 to 2000 Ωcm, and each of the pair of electrode members is formed into a band-like shape extending in an extending direction of the cells of the bonded honeycomb segment assembly, and one electrode member is disposed on a side opposite to the other electrode member via a center of the bonded honeycomb segment assembly.

摘要: A honeycomb structure includes a cylindrical honeycomb structure section having porous partition walls to define and form a plurality of cells, and an outer peripheral wall, and a pair of electrode sections disposed on a side surface of the honeycomb structure section. An electrical resistivity of the honeycomb structure section is from 1 to 200 Ωcm, and each of the pair of electrode sections is constituted of a laminated body of two or more electrode bodies. An area of the electrode body disposed closest to an outer peripheral wall side is larger than an area of the other electrode body, and in a cross section perpendicular to a cell extending direction, a center angle of the electrode body disposed closest to the outer peripheral wall side is larger than a center angle of the other electrode body.

摘要: There is provided a honeycomb type heating device including: a pillar-shaped honeycomb substrate having a partition wall defining a plurality of cells extending from one end face to the other end face and a circumferential wall surrounding the partition wall; a plurality of heaters adjacently arranged on a circumferential face that is an outside surface of the circumferential wall in a circumferential direction of the circumferential face; and intermediate members interposed between the circumferential face of the honeycomb substrate and the plurality of heaters. The sum of areas of portions of the circumferential face covered with the intermediate members between the circumferential face of the honeycomb substrate and the plurality of heaters is 20 to 100% of the sum of areas of portions of the circumferential face covered with the plurality of heaters.

摘要: A reducing agent injection device includes a honeycomb structure having a honeycomb structure body and a pair of electrode members arranged in a side surface of the honeycomb structure body and a urea spraying device spraying a urea water solution in mist form. The urea water solution sprayed from the urea spraying device is supplied inside cells from a first end face of the honeycomb structure body, and urea in the urea water solution supplied in the cells is heated and hydrolyzed inside the electrically heated honeycomb structure body to generate ammonia. The ammonia is discharged outside the honeycomb structure body from a second end face and injected outside. There is provided a reducing agent injection device that can generate and inject ammonia from a urea solution with less energy.
