    Abstract: In wireless communications for multi-users, a station may generate a first frame and transmit the first frame to an access point. The first frame may include media access control protocol data units (MPDUs). Each MPDU is associated with a traffic identifier (TID). In one aspect, a TID of one of the MPDUs is different from a TID of another one of the MPDUs. In response to receiving the first frame, the access point may generate a second frame based on the first frame. The second frame may include an indication that all of the MPDUs having TIDs are received. The access point may transmit the second frame to the station. Other methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving signals using a Physical layer Protocol Data unit (PPDU) format to which Space-Time Block Coding (STBC) is applied in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for transmitting data to a plurality of Stations (STAs) on a transmission channel by an Access Point (AP) in a WLAN may be provided. The transmission channel may be divided into a plurality of subchannels allocated to the plurality of STAs. The method may include generating a High Efficiency-Long Training Field (HE-LTF) field having a length determined based on whether Space-Time Block Coding (STBC) is applied to the plurality of subchannels, and transmitting a Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) frame including the HE-LTF field and a plurality of data units for the plurality of STAs to the plurality of STAs.

    Abstract: The embodiments provide a method implemented by a network device for transmitting link adaptation feedback in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) that supports multi-user simultaneous transmission. The method generates and transmits a frame that includes one or more link adaptation feedback values associated with a wireless communications link between the network device and a second network device. In one aspect, the one or more link adaptation feedback values may include a link adaptation feedback value for an entire operation bandwidth of the wireless communications link and a link adaptation feedback value for a given subchannel within the operation bandwidth. In another aspect, link adaptation feedback values for one or more users of a multi-user simultaneous transmission are transmitted in a multi-user acknowledgment (ACK) frame. The embodiments allow for efficient link adaptation in a multi-user simultaneous transmission environment.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a sounding procedure including uplink multi-user transmission in a High Efficiency WLAN (HEW). According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a method for transmitting a response frame by a responding Station (STA) to a transmitting STA in a wireless local area network may be provided. The method may include receiving, from the transmitting STA, a trigger frame including information related to a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) for the response frame, and transmitting, to the transmitting STA, the response frame according to an MCS determined based on the information related to the MCS for the response frame included in the trigger frame. When a type of the response frame corresponds to a Multiple-User (MU) type, a same MCS may be applied to the response frame by a plurality of STAs including the STA and at least one other STA.
