Abstract: An antenna module includes a plurality of sub-arrays arranged in an array. A first sub-array and a second sub-array are disposed adjacent to each other in a first direction. The first sub-array includes a first radiating element and a second radiating element disposed adjacent to each other in a second direction. The second sub-array also includes first and second radiating elements disposed adjacent to each other in the second direction. The second direction is a direction in which the first radiating element of the second sub-array is viewed from the first radiating element of the first sub-array and is a direction in which the second radiating element of the first sub-array and the second radiating element of the second sub-array are viewed. An angle ϕ formed between the first direction and the second direction is larger than 0° and smaller than 90°.

Abstract: The present disclosure reduces a loss of strength of a radio-frequency signal radiated from an antenna module covered with a housing. An antenna module (100) includes a dielectric substrate (130), a driven element (141), and a ground conductor (190). The dielectric substrate (130) has a multilayer structure. The driven element (141) is disposed in or on the dielectric substrate (130). The ground conductor (190) is disposed between the driven element (140) and a mounting surface (132) on which a power supply circuit is mountable. The power supply circuit supplies the driven element (140) with radio-frequency power. The dielectric substrate has at least one groove (150). The at least one groove (150) is separate from the driven element (140) when the antenna module (100) is viewed in plan. The at least one groove (150) extends toward the ground conductor (190) from a layer on which the driven element (140) is disposed.

Abstract: An antenna element includes a dielectric substrate, a first ground electrode, a second ground electrode, a via conductor, and a radiation electrode. The dielectric substrate includes a first portion shaped like a flat plate and a second portion thinner than the first portion. The first ground electrode is arranged in the first portion. The second ground electrode is arranged in the second portion. The via conductor couples the first ground electrode and the second ground electrode. A distance between the radiation electrode and the first ground electrode in a first thickness direction is more than a distance between the radiation electrode and the second ground electrode in a second thickness direction. Part of the radiation electrode lies opposite to the first ground electrode without lying opposite to the second ground electrode.

Abstract: The antenna module includes a dielectric substrate having a multilayer structure, a feed element to which radio frequency power is supplied, a ground electrode (GND), a parasitic element disposed in a layer between the feed element and the ground electrode (GND), and a feed wire. The feed wire penetrates through the parasitic element, and supplies radio frequency power to the feed element. When the antenna module is viewed in a plan view from a normal direction of the dielectric substrate, at least part of the feed element overlaps with the parasitic element, and a first position (P1) at which the feed wire is connected to the feed element is different from a second position (P2) at which the feed wire reaches the layer in which the parasitic element is disposed from a side of the ground electrode (GND).

Abstract: First and second end-fire antennas are arranged on a dielectric substrate. The first end-fire antenna has polarization characteristics being parallel with a first direction. The second end-fire antenna has polarization characteristics being parallel with a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. A patch antenna provided with a first feed point and a second feed point, which are different from each other, is arranged on the dielectric substrate. When the patch antenna is fed from the first feed point, a radio wave whose polarization direction is parallel with the first direction is excited. When the patch antenna is fed from the second feed point, a radio wave whose polarization direction is orthogonal to the first direction is excited. A wireless communication module capable of achieving directivity in a wide range from a direction parallel with the substrate to the direction of the normal to the substrate is provided.

Abstract: A first dipole antenna is included in a first layer of a dielectric substrate, a second dipole antenna which excites polarized waves in a direction orthogonal to a direction of polarized waves excited by the first dipole antenna is included in a second layer. Power is supplied from a first power supply line to the first dipole antenna and from a second power supply line to the second dipole antenna. The operating frequencies of the first dipole antenna and the second dipole antenna are the same as each other. A distance from an intermediate point between two power supply points of the first dipole antenna to an intermediate point between two power supply points of the second dipole antenna is no greater than an effective wavelength of the operating frequency. At least one of the first power supply line and the second power supply line has a triplate structure.

Abstract: Two high frequency antennas are provided in a multilayer substrate. Each high frequency antenna is configured of a radiation element, a high frequency power supply line, and a high frequency power supply unit. A low frequency antenna is configured of a series radiation element, a low frequency power supply line, and a lower frequency power supply unit. The series radiation element is formed of two radiation elements connected by a radiation element connection line. One end side of the series radiation element is connected to the low frequency power supply unit via the low frequency power supply line. Open stubs to block transmission of a high frequency signal (SH) are connected to the radiation element connection line and the low frequency power supply line. Short stubs to block transmission of a low frequency signal (SL) are connected to the high frequency power supply lines.
