    Abstract: An antenna system includes a first transformer, a first transceiver, a first switch, a second switch and an antenna. The first transformer includes a primary winding, and a secondary winding. The primary winding includes a first terminal and a second terminal, and the secondary winding includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The first transceiver is coupled to the first terminal of the primary winding of the first transformer. The first switch is coupled between the first terminal of the secondary winding of the first transformer and a ground. The second switch is coupled between the second terminal of the secondary winding of the first transformer and the ground. The antenna is coupled to the first terminal and the second terminal of the secondary winding of the first transformer. The antenna is a differential antenna.

    Abstract: An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate, loop antennas, and power feeding wires that transmit high-frequency signals to the antennas. One loop antenna is positioned inside the loop of another in plan view from the winding axis direction. Each power feeding wire has a flat electrode and a via extending along the winding axis. The flat electrodes partially overlap with their respective loop antennas but not with others. At least one via connects to its corresponding flat electrode at a position offset from the antenna in the polarization direction.

    Abstract: A shared aperture multi-band antenna is described. The antenna includes a dielectric circuit board, a folded dipole microstrip antenna, and a lumped inductor. The folded dipole microstrip antenna is formed on a top side of the dielectric circuit board. The microstrip antenna includes two meander paths. The two meander paths enclose a shared aperture therebetween. The lumped inductor is inserted across a first gap near the third edge. A first pair of parallel metallic patches, a second pair of parallel metallic patches, and a third pair of parallel metallic patches are located on the bottom side. The antenna resonates in a dual band frequency range comprising a first resonance band in a range of 0.4 GHz to 0.6 GHz and a second resonance band in a range of 4.7 GHZ to 5.8 GHz upon application of an input signal at both a first feed port and a second feed port.

    Abstract: A reconfigurable, dual-band, MIMO antenna apparatus, a planar MIMO antenna system utilizing the antenna apparatus, and a method of transmitting and receiving a signal by the antenna apparatus are provided. The apparatus includes a dielectric planar substrate, a first element, a second element, two varactor diodes per element, and a microstrip feed-line. The first element and the second element each have slotted concentric annular rings. The second element is separated on the dielectric planar substrate from the first element, but is coplanar on the dielectric planar substrate with the first element. The two varactor diodes are placed in series with biasing circuitry, the biasing circuitry including RF chokes and current-limiting resistors. The microstrip feed-line feeds both antenna elements. The dual-band antenna elements can each be independently and concurrently tunable to two signal frequencies bands.

    Abstract: Described are electronic devices, and specifically provides a multi-frequency slot antenna, a terminal device and an antenna resonance frequency adjustment method. The antenna is applied to a terminal device, and the terminal device includes a metal casing. According to an example, the antenna includes a slot provided in the metal casing, the slot having a first end and a second end opposite to each other in a length direction; a feed terminal across inside of the slot and located between the first end and the second end; and a capacitor provided in the slot, two electrodes of the capacitor being respectively connected with two sides of the slot in a width direction. Furthermore, in the length direction, the capacitor is located at a position where voltages are not zero at original values of multiple orders of resonance frequencies of the antenna when the capacitor is not provided in the slot. In this way, an operating frequency of the antenna includes multiple orders of resonance frequencies.

    Abstract: A dual-band antenna device allowed to perform communication at a first frequency in a predetermined frequency band and at a second frequency in a frequency band higher than the predetermined frequency band includes: a ground conductor; a folded antenna conductor including a first linear part and a second linear part that are caused to face each other at a distance by folding; an LC resonant circuit that is included in the folded antenna conductor, that lets the first frequency pass, and that lets the second frequency attenuate; and a feeding point between the ground conductor and the folded antenna conductor. A narrow gap part is provided between the first linear part and the second linear part of the folded antenna conductor, the narrow gap part measuring a distance shorter than a distance measured in a different portion between the first linear part and the second linear part.
