摘要： A medical device for draining a fluid from the body of a patient includes a tubular member having an open distal end that resides interiorly of the body of a patient and a proximal end that extends exteriorly of the body of the patient. The tubular member has an inner surface extending between the distal end and the proximal end, wherein the inner surface defines a lumen. An interior member is disposed in the lumen and extends along a length of the inner surface. The interior member is engaged with the inner surface such that a chamber is defined therebetween. A conduit is engaged with the tubular member for transmission of an inflation fluid to selectively vary a dimension of the chamber for freeing clogged debris in the lumen.

摘要： An occlusion device for occluding a body vessel including a first hub having a tubular wall defining a lumen having a longitudinal axis and a second hub disposed distally along the longitudinal axis. A plurality of arcuate members extend between the first hub and the second hub. The arcuate members extend radially away from the longitudinal axis in an open configuration and extend substantially along the longitudinal axis in a closed configuration. A biocompatible material is disposed within a volume defined by the arcuate members to form an occlusive barrier when deployed within the body vessel.

摘要： A syringe device for agitating and delivering a liquid medication to a patient is provided. The device includes an injecting member, a first syringe, a second syringe and an accumulator. The first syringe is configured to provide the liquid medication to the device. The second syringe is configured to receive the liquid medication from the first syringe. The accumulator is biased to an empty position and cooperates with the second syringe to agitate the liquid medication back and forth between the second syringe and the accumulator. The second syringe is configured to move the liquid medication to the injecting member for patient delivery.

摘要： A wire guide includes a mandrel that has a proximal portion and a distal portion. A first coating with a low coefficient of friction is disposed on the proximal portion of the mandrel. A second coating is disposed on the distal portion of the mandrel, where the second coating provides a sub-structure. A third coating is disposed on the second coating, where the third coating comprises a surface that allows for easy maneuverability of the wire guide. The first coating on the proximal portion provides enough lubricity to keep the wire guide from becoming bound or stuck in a catheter or medical device while still allowing a user to have a good grip of the wire guide. The second coating on the distal portion provides lubricity for the wire guide, which allows the user to easily maneuver the wire guide through a vascular anatomy.

The device may also include a needle assembly (14) and an aspiration syringe (16). The medical device (10) can most readily be understood as an improvement in Kopans-type or hookwire-type localizer stylet having a wire shaft (18) with a distal end (28), and a hook (36) depending in a proximal direction from the wire shaft (18). The improvements entail spacing the hook (36) proximally of the distal end (28) of the wire shaft (18), and providing the wire shaft with a twist between the hook (36) and the distal end (28) of the wire shaft (18). Wire shaft (18) has first and second wire segments (20 and 30), each including a respective distal twisted portion (24 or 34) adjacent its respective distal end (22 or 32). The first wire segment (20) further includes a generally straight portion (26) extending proximally of its distal twisted portion (24), while the second wire segment (30) further includes a hook (36) extending proximally of its distal twisted portion (34).

摘要： An occlusion device for occluding a body vessel is provided. The occlusion device has a tubular expandable body having an interior side and an exterior side. A restricting ring is located around the exterior side of the tubular expandable body and collapses a portion of the tubular expandable body. The occlusion device is configured to move between an expanded state for occlusion within a body vessel and a collapsed state for delivery or retrieval of the device, and the device is configured to open radially to define the expanded state and to collapse along the longitudinal axis to define the collapsed state. A delivery assembly for an occlusion device and a method of constructing an occlusion device are also disclosed.
