摘要: An image decoding device (200) includes: a prediction signal generation unit (241D) configured to determine whether or not an application condition of BDOF processing is satisfied for each block, generate a prediction signal by executing the BDOF processing in a case where it is determined that the application condition is satisfied, and set the application condition based on a weight coefficient in a case where calculation is performed using pixel values of two reference frames or values calculated from the pixel values in the BDOF processing such that the application condition includes a condition on time distances between the two reference frames and a target frame.

摘要: An image decoding device includes: a motion compensation predictor configured to generate a prediction image signal of a prediction target block based on information about a motion vector in a unit of the block and a reference frame; an overlapped block motion compensator carrying out an overlapped block motion compensation process of correcting the prediction image signal of the prediction target block by subjecting the prediction image signal of the prediction target block and a prediction image signal generated based on information about a motion vector and a reference frame of an adjacent block of the prediction target block to weighted averaging; and a determinater determining whether the overlapped block motion compensation process is applied to the prediction target block or not. The determinater determines application of the overlapped block motion compensation process to the prediction target block, when unidirectional prediction is applied to the adjacent block.

摘要: An image decoding device, includes a filter unit using, as an input, a decoded signal prior to the filtering process and output a filtered decoded signal. The filter unit performs clipping processing on the decoded signal prior to the filtering process such that the absolute value of a differential value between a reference pixel value and a pixel value of the decoded signal prior to the filtering process is less than or equal to a predefined threshold value, and to generate the filtered decoded signal through the linear weighted addition of the value after the clipping processing is performed and the pixel value of the decoded signal prior to the filtering process; and a large-small relationship between the threshold value for a luma signal and the threshold value for a chroma signal are defined such that the large-small relationship is unchanged when an internal bit depth is changed.
