摘要: A fishing rig storage device that is removably insertable into a receiving slot incorporated in at least one of a dividing wall or an interior surface of a tackle container is illustrated and described. The fishing rig storage device includes a mounting tab having quartered sections and a plurality of notches formed along a perimeter. Each quartered section includes at least one of the plurality of notches. A fishing rig having a hook assembly, a line, and a tail is secured to the mounting tab by securing the hook assembly to a first notch, selectively wrapping the line around the plurality of notches, and securing the tail to a slit extending from the perimeter. The line is preferably arranged around the mounting tab to minimize catching or snagging of the line on the hook assembly when the line is unwrapped from the mounting tab.

摘要: An antiseptic composition for use as a topical skin sanitizer or as a surface disinfectant includes Populus tremuloides Bark Extract and/or Ribes Nigum Fruit Extract in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 50 weight percent effective as a broad spectrum antiseptic and antimicrobial agent. The composition includes an aqueous medium and/or one or more oils. The amount of the aqueous medium is from 45 to about 95 weight percent. The amount of oils is from 0.03 to about 50 weight percent. The composition may also include up to about 1 weight percent of one or more soothing agents; up to about 5 weight percent of one or more thickeners; and up to about 38 weight percent of one or more emulsifiers. The composition does not contain alcohols, chlorinated compounds, iodine, or phenols.

摘要: The system and methods described herein provide a way for writers and publishers to stand behind individual and combined facts in their work by offering a bounty to a person who can supersede their own data in support of the fact's accuracy with better data, as measured by a pre-established fact evaluation guideline. Once sufficiently vetted by this system, facts are added to an apolitical certified fact database. Facts in the certified fact database also have a bounty upon their accuracy, however financial responsibility for the bounty is transferred to the system. Subscribers to the system may then download and use fact contained within the certified fact database to enhance their own work, while benefiting from the enhanced readership, interest and trustworthiness provided by virtue of the bounty.

摘要: For determining OSNRreal of a real optical signal carried in an optical network link, real the following has been proposed: tapping a portion of the real optical signal, altering the tapped signal portion by adding to it in-band artificial noise signal, thus obtaining a combined signal, scattering the combined signal by stimulated Brillouin or Raman scattering (SBS or SRS) in an optical element, extracting a signal back reflected by SBS/SRS from the optical element, determining OSNRcomb of the back reflected signal and deriving the OSNRreal from the OSNRcomb knowing absolute and/or relative power of the added artificial noise.

摘要: An externally testable redundant seal connector for a well comprising a connector body and a ferrule disposed on an end of the connector body. The ferrule is adapted for forming a primary seal between an outer diameter of the connector body and a profile in a mandrel. A sealing groove can be formed on the outer diameter of the connector body. A sealing device can be disposed in the sealing groove. A conduit can be formed in the connector body parallel to but disconnected from the thru-bore. Ports can be disposed in the connector body for receiving fluid and introducing fluid to at least one conduit. A plug can be insertable in each port upon completion of testing wherein each plug forms a secondary seal between the connector and the mandrel.

摘要: A system for evaluating the leak tightness of a connector, or multiple connectors. The system uses an administrative server having a library of pressure and temperature information on various connectors, as well as the ability to report pressure and temperature data to a network as uncorrected and corrected responses. The system uses a data logger for recording pressure and temperature readings and also reporting corrected and uncorrected responses using one or more equations to shorten the test time by at least 50 percent or to about 5 minutes or less. The system uses a test pump for applying pressure to a connector to generate a corrected pressure which indicates leaks when the corrected pressure changes.
