Abstract: A power negotiation method for power over Ethernet, power sourcing equipment, a system, and a storage medium are provided, and belong to the field of power over Ethernet technologies. The power sourcing equipment includes a plurality of power supply ports and a plurality of data ports. The power sourcing equipment supplies power to a connected powered device through the power supply port, and transmits data to the connected powered device through the data port. In this way, the power supply port can meet a data transmission requirement when a data transmission rate increases. According to the application, when a first power supply port and a first data port are connected to a first powered device, the power sourcing equipment can perform power negotiation with first power sourcing equipment through the first data port based on port feature information of the first power supply port.

Abstract: A power over Ethernet method where power sourcing equipment (PSE) detects and determines that a first set of cable pairs and a second set of cable pairs of an Ethernet twisted pair are connected to a valid powered device (PD), the PSE receives a link layer discovery protocol data unit (LLDPDU) from the PD, where the LLDPDU includes a load quantity type-length-value (TLV) used to notify a quantity of PD loads included in the PD, and when the PD receives power from both the first set of cable pairs and the second set of cable pairs, and the PD includes two PD interfaces, and the PD includes two PD loads, the PSE supplies power to the PD at a first power using the first set of cable pairs, and supplies power to the PD at a second power using the second set of cable pairs.

Abstract: A filtering-based power supply apparatus used in a power sourcing equipment (PSE) includes a power supply control circuit and an adaptive filter circuit. The power supply control circuit includes a power supply channel and a detection module. The power supply channel includes a control switch configured to control on and off of the power supply channel. The detection module is configured to send a detection signal to the power supply channel to detect whether a peer device connected to the power supply channel is a valid powered device. Abstract: A power supply management method performed by power sourcing equipment, includes receiving a power-on request from a level-1 powered device, where the power-on request includes a port identifier of a level-2 power supply port that is detected to be valid in the level-1 powered device, determining, based on the power-on request and an outputtable power of the power sourcing equipment, a level-2 power supply port that is allowed to be powered on in the level-1 powered device, and sending a power-on instruction to the level-1 powered device, where the power-on instruction includes a port identifier of the level-2 power supply port that is allowed to be powered on in the level-1 powered device. The first circuit is connected to a power supply pin group of the Ethernet port, the power supply control circuit, and the common discharge circuit. The second circuit is connected to a non-power supply pin group of the Ethernet port and the common discharge circuit. The first circuit transmits, to the common discharge circuit, a first surge that is input from the power supply pin group. The second circuit transmits, to the common discharge circuit, a second surge that is input from the non-power supply pin group. The common discharge circuit discharges the first surge and the second surge to ground.
