摘要: An optical module for preventing laser beam leakage and a control method thereof are disclosed. The optical module including a current control circuit, a first transistor, a laser, and a laser control unit. The laser control unit is configured to: if it is detected that an optical fiber is inserted in the optical fiber interface, perform control to turn on the laser, or if it is detected that no optical fiber is inserted in the optical fiber interface, control the laser to remain in an off state. A laser beam is effectively prevented from causing human bodily injury when an optical fiber is not inserted in an optical fiber interface.

摘要: An optical module unlocking apparatus includes: a base, a sliding member, a driving piece, and an elastic piece. The sliding member is slidably disposed on the base along an insertion direction. The driving piece is rotatably connected to the base, the other end of the sliding member is connected to the driving piece, and the driving piece can rotate from a locked state to an unlocked state relative to the base under an action of external force, and drive the sliding member to move relative to the base along the insertion direction. A second connecting part is disposed on the driving piece. Because the driving piece is located outside a cage, space for disposing the elastic piece on the driving piece is sufficient, and the driving piece does not need to fit a spring plate. This simplifies a structure of the optical module and improves processing efficiency.

摘要: A heartbeat packet timer identification method and a device, where the identification method is performed by a device that sets a timer, and the method includes determining, in a data packet transmitted by the device, each associated data packet corresponding to each timing end moment of the timer and determining, according to each associated data packet and each timing end moment of the timer, whether the timer is a heartbeat packet timer set by the device for transmitting a heartbeat packet. With reference to a data packet transmitted by a device and each associated data packet that corresponds to each timing end moment of a timer, the heartbeat packet timer identification method and the device may determine with relatively high accuracy whether the timer is a heartbeat packet timer.

摘要: An optical module unlocking apparatus includes a housing, including a base and a mounting portion connected to one end of the base. The base has an accommodation area for installing a circuit board and an electrical component. The apparatus also includes an unlocking component, including an unlocking arm movably connected to the housing. The unlocking arm has an abutment portion for abutting against an elastomer of a cage, and the unlocking component is configured to push the unlocking arm outward relative to the housing in an insertion direction under an action of external force to separate the abutment portion from the elastomer. The apparatus further includes an elastic component on an outer side surface of the mounting portion and outside the accommodation area. A first end of the elastic component is connected to the mounting portion and a second end of the elastic component is connected to the mounting portion.

The optical module includes a housing assembly and an optical component located in the housing assembly. The optical component passes through the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole in sequence. This application provides an optical port shielding and fastening apparatus, an optical module, and a communications device, to resolve poor optical port shielding performance of an optical module in the related technology.
