    摘要: When a second housing 80 and a first housing 30 are approached to each other along an axial direction, a body portion 62 of a second fixing member 60 begins to enter in an opening 81 of the second housing 80. Since a vertical wall surface 81a and a cylindrical surface 81b are formed on the opening 81 to substantially match the outer shape of the rear end of the body portion 62, when the second housing 80 is inserted to the first housing 30 while keeping the relative angle until the second housing 80 abuts on a first fixing member 40 which closes the opening and rotating the second housing 80 with respect to the first housing 30 by 90°, a protrusion 64 faces and enters a recessed engagement portion 83 formed on the vertical wall surface 81a. Thus, the protrusion 64 and the recessed engagement portion 83 are fitted and fixed.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a fiber optic connector including a connector housing having a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end can form a plug portion adapted for insertion within a receptacle of a fiber optic adapter. A rear insert mounts within the proximal end of the connector housing. An axial insertion/retention interface can be defined between the connector housing and the rear insert. The axial insertion/retention interface can be configured to allow the rear insert to be inserted into and removed from the proximal end of the connector housing along an insertion axis when the rear insert is positioned in a first rotational position about the insertion axis relative to the connector housing. The axial insertion/retention interface can also be configured to prevent the rear insert from being withdrawn from the proximal end of the connector housing along the insertion axis.

The support includes a first portion defining a front end of the support and a second portion defining a back end of the support, with the second portion having a stiffness less than the first portion. Additionally, the support and boot are formed from respective first and second materials, with the second material being less rigid than the first material.

    摘要: A connector body includes upper and lower housings. The lower housing defines a locking structure, a cable channel and a retention channel adjacent the cable channel. The upper housing defines a complementary locking structure for interlocking the housings, and a retention projection for registering with the retention channel. The connector body may be assembled by moving the housings along a first direction into a mated position in which upper and lower housings register with one another but are not interlocked, and then moving the housings along a second direction transverse to the first direction until the locking structures interlock and the retention projection is in registration with the retention channel with the strength members pinched therebetween. A cable connector assembly includes a terminated fiber optic cable received in the connector body, with the ferrule retained between the housings and the strength members pinched between the retention projection and retention channel.

The inner bottom surface defines first grooves and first receiving grooves aligned with the first grooves, and includes two clamping holes. The clamping element is received in the receiving space and includes a cantilever beam and two hooks extending from the cantilever beam. The cantilever beam includes a bottom surface defining a second receiving grooves. The two hooks are received into the two clamping holes to fix the clamping element to the housing. The first receiving grooves and the second receiving grooves cooperatively define receiving holes to receive optical fibers.
