摘要: The invention provides improved composite and conjugate filaments to be used exclusively in in-water submerged purposes. Each of these filaments consists of a core of vinylidene fluoride resin consisting in turn of one or more filamentary element(s), while a sheath consists of polyamide resin. The composing ratio as measured between the cross-sections of these both resins is defined by a value extending from 1/99-to 40/60, preferably from 3/97 to 30/70, still more preferably between 3/97 and 20/80.

摘要: An improved polyvinylidene fluoride resin-made filament. It consists substantially of a blend of 99-wt. % of a first polyvinylidene fluoride resin component having an inherent viscosity higher than 1.30 dl/g on the one hand, and 1-60 wt. % of a second polyvinylidene fluoride component having an inherent viscosity lower than 1.20 dl/g on the other. The blend has a critical shearing stress lower than 2.8.times.10 dyne/cm.sup.2 and is subjected to melt-spinning and successively to a primary and a secondary stretching in a temperature region of 70.degree.-180.degree. C. The overall stretch factor is selected to be 4-10.

摘要: A display device includes first and second substrates, first and second, red, green and blue color filters, disposed between the first and second substrates, and arranged in a first direction, a first light blocking film disposed between the first red and the green color filters, a second light blocking film disposed between the green and the blue color filters, and a third light blocking film disposed between the blue and the second red color filters, and signal lines, thin film transistors, and pixel electrodes formed on the first substrate. The first, second, and third light blocking films are overlapped with the signal lines. A width of a part of the second light blocking film disposed between the pixel electrodes in the first direction is larger than a width of a part of the first light blocking film disposed between the pixel electrodes in the first direction.

摘要: The present invention realizes an IPS liquid crystal display device which exhibits small directivity of viewing angle and high brightness. Below a pixel electrode having a comb-teeth-shaped electrode and having a laterally-extending trapezoidal profile, a planar common electrode not shown in the drawing is formed by way of an insulation film. When a video signal is applied to the pixel electrode, an electric field is generated between the pixel electrode and the common electrode via slit portions formed in the pixel electrode thus controlling liquid crystal molecules. The pixel electrodes are arranged in a packed state by alternately reversing the direction of the trapezoidal shape in the longitudinal direction. Since a light blocking film is not present between two pixel electrodes arranged adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction, the liquid crystal display device can acquire high transmissivity. As a result, a liquid crystal display device having high brightness can be realized.
