Abstract: A media playback apparatus and a method including a system for preventing a playback delay are provided. The media playback apparatus may include a delay detecting module to detect a playback delay. The playback delay detection may determine a delay caused by a network, decoding and rendering through a single measurement. When the playback delay occurs, it may be possible to eliminate the playback delay by requesting that a server provide media data having a changed profile. Since the playback delay can be determined through a single measurement of a plurality of playback delay factors, it may be possible to simply and stably perform media playback in a manner suitable for a non-plug-in environment.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for simultaneously playing back and storing media without a plug-in in a web browser. In the present disclosure, since restoration of video, restoration of audio, and backup of media are performed in a multi-threaded manner using a web worker, it is possible to simultaneously perform playback and storage of media. To this end, interworking is performed between a video web worker performing restoration of video, an audio web worker performing restoration of audio, and a backup web worker performing backup of media. According to the present disclosure, it is possible to simultaneously perform playback and backup of media, and it is also possible to stop backup of media and then resume the backup.

Abstract: To solve the above problem, a monitoring apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communication unit for receiving an original image acquired by a camera; a storage unit for storing the original image; a screen unit for displaying the original image and a corrected image obtained by dewarping the original image; and a control unit for controlling operations of the communication unit, the storage unit, and the screen unit, wherein the screen unit displays an icon in a dewarping area of the original image where the corrected image is obtained by dewarping the original image, indicates that the dewarping area is selected when the icon located in the dewarping area is selected, and displays a polygon representing the selected dewarping area.
