Abstract: An electric vehicle transmission includes a housing, a first gear, a second gear, and a first clutch pack supported in the housing. A first actuator is arranged in the housing. The first actuator is coupled with a first actuator member. A second actuator is arranged in the housing. The second actuator is coupled with a second actuator member. A modular actuation system is mounted to the housing. The modular actuation system includes a first energizer member and a second energizer member. The first energizer member is operatively connected to the first actuator and is operable to engage the first gear and the second energizer member is operatively connected to the second actuator and is operable to engage the second gear.

Abstract: A transfer case pump includes an oil pump, a cover assembly, and a torque transfer mechanism. The oil pump has a pump shaft, and is configured to pressurize a lubricant in response to a rotation of the pump shaft. The pump shaft rotates around a pump axis. The pump axis is parallel to a rear axis of a rear shaft. The pump axis is offset from the rear axis. The cover assembly has a channel configured to transfer the lubricant from the oil pump to the rear shaft. The cover assembly extends around the rear shaft and around the pump shaft. The torque transfer mechanism is configured to transfer a torque from the rear shaft to the pump shaft.

Abstract: A motor vehicle planetary axis transfer gearbox system includes a connective housing connecting an engine to a transmission of a motor vehicle with the transmission being positioned forward of the engine. An axis of an engine output shaft is oriented substantially parallel to an axis of a transmission input shaft. Both the axis of the engine output shaft and the axis of the transmission input shaft are oriented substantially perpendicular to a central axis of the motor vehicle. A planetary gear set is connected to one of the engine output shaft or the transmission input shaft acting to reverse a direction of rotation of either the engine output shaft or the transmission input shaft to match a direction of rotation of both the engine output shaft and the transmission input shaft. A drive chain connects the engine output shaft to the transmission input shaft.

Abstract: A damper system includes a turbine shaft rotatably connected to a torque converter having a clutch. A hydraulically actuated clutch is coupled to the turbine shaft. A first spring cage has a first cage portion connected to the hydraulically actuated clutch and a second cage portion connected to a friction plate. A first spring set is connected to the first and second cage portions. Springs of the first spring set are deflected by axial rotation between the first and second cage portions when the torque converter clutch is engaged. A second spring cage has a first cage section connected to the hydraulically actuated clutch and a second cage section connected to a torque converter turbine. A second spring set has second springs having a spring constant different than the first spring set. The second spring set springs are deflected by axial rotation between the first and second cage sections.
