摘要: This detection device is provided with: a chip including a detection region for detecting a substance to be detected; a light source which emits excitation light; a detector for detecting the fluorescence emitted from a fluorescent substance which labels the substance to be detected, and which is excited by the excitation light; and an optical fiber which includes a core, and a cladding covering the outer peripheral surface of the core, guides, to the detection region, the excitation light emitted from the light source, and guides, to the detector, the fluorescence emitted from the fluorescent substance. The optical fiber is fixed to the chip directly or via a connector. The excitation light emitted from the light source is guided within the core, and reaches the detection region of the chip. The fluorescence emitted from the fluorescent substance is guided within the core and the cladding, and reaches the detector.

摘要: Microchannel chip (100) has film (120) adhered on the second surface of base (110) having a through-hole (111), and conductive layer (130). Film (120) has hole (121) and covers a second opening of the through-hole (111). Conductive layer (130) is integrally formed so as to extend from a portion of a bottom of hole (121) of base (110) to a portion of an inner surface of through-hole (111). Upon comparison with a microchannel chip in the related art, microchannel chip (100) is further reduced in size, has excellent handleability and is easy to be manufactured.

摘要: A fluid handling device has a first substrate, a second substrate, and a resin film disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate includes a first channel, a valve body facing area having a substantially circular segment-shaped opening, a second channel, and a partition wall formed between the valve body facing area and an end on one side of the second channel. The second substrate includes a pressure chamber. The resin film includes a substantially spherical cap-shaped diaphragm portion. A radius of an outer edge of the diaphragm portion is smaller than a radius of a circular arc of the valve body facing area. The diaphragm portion is so arranged as to straddle the valve body facing area and the end on one side of the second channel.

摘要: This fluid handling device has a substrate, a film, and a sliding member. The substrate has first flow paths, second flow paths, and partition walls formed between one end of the first flow paths and one end of the second flow paths. The film includes a diaphragm, and is arranged above the substrate such that the diaphragm and the partition walls oppose one another. The sliding member has protrusions formed on the back surface thereof, and is arranged above the film with the back surface facing the film. By sliding on the film the sliding member is able switch alternately between a first state in which the protrusions are arranged so as not to oppose the partition walls, and the diaphragm is sandwiched therebetween, and a second state in which the protrusions are arranged opposing the partition walls, and the diaphragm is sandwiched therebetween.

摘要: A fluid handling device includes a substrate, a film and a conductive layer. The substrate includes a through hole or a recess. The film includes first, second and third regions. The conductive layer is disposed on one surface of the film across the first, second and third regions. The first region of the film is bonded to one surface of the substrate such that one of openings of the through hole or an opening of the recess is closed to form a housing part, and that a part of the conductive layer is exposed to the inside of the housing part. The second region of the film is bent such that the conductive layer is located on an outside. The third region of the film is bonded to the first region of the film such that the conductive layer is exposed to the exterior.
