    摘要: In fan beam X-ray scanners operating with a large number of detectors, errors at and near the center of rotation are caused by the fact that the radiation absorption in said area is substantially always measured by the same detectors and that the sensitivity of all detectors is not exactly the same. The invention provides an improvement in that the measurement is carried out with a larger number of detectors than is necessary for the measurement of the scanning field and that the detectors pivot during the measurement. As a result, the absorption in the center of rotation is measured by different detectors so that, for a sufficient number of detectors the different sensitivities, errors are averaged and thus reduced or cancelled.

    摘要: In third-generation computer tomography apparatus measuring values must be intermediately stored partly for the total scanning time in order to enable processing of all measuring values with a given projection angle. This involves high expenditures for storage means. Moreover, the applied dose is larger than required for obtaining the measuring value per se. The invention consists in that there is provided a shield which moves with the radiator but whose direction does not change in space during the measurement, but does change relative to the radiation beam. As a result, it is achieved that all measuring values with a given projection angle can be obtained within a part of the scanning time, the said part corresponding to the ratio between the opening angle of the radiation beam and the total scanning time. As a result, the cost of intermediate storage as well as the patient dose can be reduced.

    摘要: The method relates to an X-ray apparatus, which by the rotary scanning with the aid of a fan-shaped radiation beam provides measuring data about the radiation attenuation in the layer of a body, from which subsequently the absorption distribution of the layer being examined is calculated. In such an apparatus it is important that the center of rotation is accurately known. If this center is not exactly known, this leads to blurring in the reconstructed image. If scanning is not performed over a full revolution, this moreover gives rise to streaking artefacts. The method proposed automatically yields the center of rotation from the measuring data, so that during the subsequent reconstruction allowance can be made for the center of rotation.
