摘要: A common Data Analytics Service (DAS) at service layer is designed to use underlying existing/future data analytics technologies or tools and provide them to service layer entities that need those data analytics operations with uniform access approach. A general operation framework/interface design is used for enabling DAS and the operation details within DAS. Related procedures for interacting with DAS, including the new parameters in service layer request/response messages can be used.

摘要: A batch of CRUD operations can be coupled with the resource discovery operation and directly conducted on the matched resources, without initiating new CRUD requests. New functionality at the Originator and Receiver can differentiate the resources for which criteria matching is applied from the resources included in the discovery/filtering results. Enhanced functionality at the Originator and Receiver can combine discovery with RESTful operations targeting a resource set different than but related the discovered resources. Other enhancements may be used to request discovery of resources in a specified relationship to those matching a filter, or to request group formation based on the result.

摘要: Applicants disclose an inter-system mobility anchor control point that is adapted to initiate handover of an existing communication connection in an integrated small cell and WiFi (ISW) network. The inter-system mobility anchor control point is communicatively coupled to both an HeNB/LTE network and trusted WLAN access network (TWAN) and adapted to operate as a common control plane entity for both HeNB/LTE and TWAN access. The mobility anchor control point may be a mobility management entity (MME) or an integrated small cell and WLAN gateway (ISW GW). The mobility anchor control point is adapted to request and receive measurement data relating to the operations of the HeNB network and WLAN. Based upon the measurement data, the mobility anchor control point determines whether an existing communication path via one of the HeNB/LTE network and WLAN should be handed over to the other of the networks.

摘要: Multi-RAT UEs currently have 2 independent paths to authenticate with HSS (e.g., via the MME or the 3GPP AAA Server causing repeated authentication messages to HSS). The use of one unified authentication path between the UE and HSS for Small Cell and Wi-Fi authentication is described. First, a new 3GPP EPC-TWAN interworking architecture has the MME manage all the authentication requests from multi-RAT UEs. Second, new unified authentication procedures are added, which allow the ISWN-based multi-RAT UE to be authenticated directly with the HSS, irrespective of its current access network (TWAN or HeNB). Third, new fast re-authentication procedures for Inter-RAT handover scenarios are done. Finally, the needed extensions to the various standard protocol messages to execute the authentication procedures are described.

摘要: It is recognized herein that as the number of transmit antennas in cellular systems (e.g., NR or 5G systems) increase, the Channel State information (CSI) feedback overhead may increase to unacceptable levels, and the current CSI feedback might not support beamforming training for NR. Embodiments described herein provide an enhanced and more efficient design for Channel State Information feedback as compared to current approaches.

摘要: A service layer entity may register to another service layer entity and proactively request to gain access to the local services hosted by the registrar entity. A registrar entity may accept a registree entity's registration request but only grant access of its partial services to the registree entity. If a registree entity does not need to proactively request the services within its registration request message, the registrar entity decides what services may be needed by the registree entity and grants access of those services to the registree entity.

摘要: Flexibly configured containers consisting of resources within time-frequency blocks may be used to support multiple numerologies in new radio architectures. Uplink control may be defined in resources within a container, or in dedicated resources, by various nodes.
Sounding reference signal resources may be dynamically configured for each numerology. The sequence length may be adapted, as well as the time domain location of symbols. Time, frequency, and orthogonal resources may be allocated via a downlink control channel or a radio resource control.
Sounding reference signals may be pre-coded, and pre-coding weights may be based on a codebook or non-codebook approaches, e.g., via a radio resource control or a downlink RRC or DL control channel. Pre-coded sounding reference signals may be adapted to user equipment antenna configuration. Further, NR-SRS may be used as UL demodulation RS (DM-RS).-
