摘要: The present application relates to the technical field of secondary batteries, and in particular to a binder for secondary batteries and a preparation method thereof, a separator comprising the binder, a battery cell, a battery and an electrical apparatus. The binder for secondary batteries includes an organic polymer. The organic polymer has a first glass transition temperature and a second glass transition temperature, the first glass transition temperature is less than or equal to 25° C., and the second glass transition temperature is greater than 25° C. During coating of a separator, the binder is non-viscous at room temperature to facilitate winding and unwinding of the separator. However, the binder has a better bonding force when a cold pressing process is carried out after the winding with positive and negative electrode plates, so that the positive and negative electrode plates and the separator fit each other closely.

摘要: This application relates to the field of battery technologies, and in particular, to a binder and a preparation method thereof, and a separator, electrode assembly, battery cell, battery, and electric apparatus containing such binder. The binder includes a core layer structure and a shell layer structure provided on surface of the core layer structure, where the core layer structure includes a polyvinylidene fluoride polymer, and the shell layer structure includes a polyacrylate polymer. Polyvinylidene fluoride is a homopolymer with a crystallinity of about 50%, resulting in insufficient adhesion force. Therefore, in this application, the polyacrylate polymer is used to encapsulate the polyvinylidene fluoride polymer to obtain a core-shell-structured binder, so that the crystallinity of the polyvinylidene fluoride polymer in the core-shell-structured binder is improved, and adhesion performance of the core-shell-structured binder is improved, thereby increasing adhesion force between a separator and an electrode plate via the binder.

摘要: A binder composition includes a polymer and ceramic particles, the polymer including structural units derived from a first-type monomer, a second-type monomer, and a third-type monomer, and a molar ratio of the first-type monomer, second-type monomer, and third-type monomer being (50 to 58):(40 to 44):(2 to 6); where the first-type monomer is selected from one or more compounds of formula I, the second-type monomer is selected from one or more compounds of formula II, and the third-type monomer is selected from one or more compounds of formula III. The binder improves the porosity of the separator, increases the ionic conductivity, and reduces the internal resistance, thereby enhancing the cycling performance of the secondary battery.

The bonding layer includes a side facing the separator and a side away from the separator. The bonding layer is bonded on the separator, and the side away from the separator has no adhesiveness, which facilitates the winding and unwinding of the separator.

The shell structure includes an acrylate copolymer, and the core structure comprises a rigid polymer. The rigid polymer has a crystallinity ranging from 32% to 94%. The binder with a core-shell structure includes the core structure of the rigid polymer. During cold pressing of a battery cell, the rigid polymer acts as a support, making a particle structure of the binder stable, that is, the rigid polymer acts as a support, resulting in an overall increase in the rigidity of the binder.
